Knight better than Ryan Anderson for the money. Kris can ball a really athletic of with limited 3pt range. Two take aways at least to start the search Carmelo is our starting sf and MCW,s playing time will be limited at best.
This is how I felt when Osweiler's ass was traded... Who gives a damn about the so called repercussions.. Get his azz outta here! #Joy
I'm glad this scrub is gone. $20M waste. $80M waste. Hated the signing from day one. Never get into a bidding war the the Sacramento Kings. but but but his floor spacing! Elite floor spacer! but but but Rockets can't win without him! Rockets don't win 55 games without him! but but but he is the best 3pt shooter on the team! but but but but but but..... We just got rid of this certified scrub and it didn't even cost a first round pick or second round pick, let alone two firsts?
Solid addition to the guard rotation and a pretty reasonable project in Chriss. Rockets had to get rid of that USD 20M hole against the Warriors. Additionally, I think both Knight and Chriss are more tradeable than Ryno. Wish Ryno all the best, he had a pretty fun Rockets tenure, and helped us surprise the league during that first season post Dwight
Before the draft if I asked you what Ryan Anderson and the 46th pick is worth it would be much, much less than Brandon Knight + Marquise Chriss. This trade has positive value for the Rockets. It’s a W.
Brandon had a torn ACL last season right? Wonder if he'll come back from that decent. Chriss looks like a solid pick and roll option with Harden or Chris
We traded 2 players who wouldn’t even crack the rotation next year. We got back a legit scorer off the bench and Paul’s backup. Also a athletic former top lottery Pick that plays any position
Look at it this way. The Rockets just unloaded 20 million of bad salary off of next years salary’s cap, and got a flyer on a lottery talent who has struggled for the 46th pick in the draft. That’s insane when you think about what other teams have had to give up to shed salary in the past two years. The Rockets just did it a year early. The trade as it relates to the talent even if Knight gives your nothing wouid be like the Terrence Williams trade but instead of a mid first you are still only trading a late 2nd. This is a great deal unless there is another first involved we don’t know about yet.
Phoenix two years ago traded three first round picks to acquire Chriss and just dumped him for Ryno? What is going on here. Something doesn’t add up. Also it says Chriss is the third youngest player to reach 100 steals, blocks, and three pointers made behind KD and Lebron. Wow that’s some good company to be in.
