Anything is better than giving Brandon Knight playing time. Do not like what I have seen from him so far. We have to give proper rest to Harden. We can't expect him to play 40 minutes plus every game and expect him to hold up and keep up MVP level play. Hoping this ends up being a good move for us. Send Knight down to G league and maybe he gets his confidence and game back.

Hey im seeing alot of negativity and ill say this i like the pick up he can play the hell out of some defense and he is tough and he is better than any back up we have on the roster right now so u guys need to cheer up and stop wishing for ZION
He's not likable but probably necessary. I'm assuming we got the ok from CP3 to sign him. He'll behave here and is only on a one year deal. Look, I don't love him. But it's probably better than rolling the dice on a g league player. Hopefully he can limit the minutes for Harden and CP3 when he returns.

I don't like him either but last year he hit 38% of his threes with 6 attempts a game. That's not bad. He's big enough to switch sometimes, though his defensive fundamentals are kind of meh and he always seems to fall down, for whatever reason. He also needs to hit free throws more consistently. Another thing, the upside of all that Clippers nepotism is that it gave him enough minutes to turn him into a legit rotation piece, which is more than Knight, who's still recovering, can say right now. I very much doubt that this was done without Harden and CP3's permission, so I'm going to assume that they signed off on this as well. We needed depth, and, well, this is it. Regardless of my personal feelings towards him before, I'm going to cheer for him and wish him the best, because he's a Rocket now.
Yep, Knight will be gone 100%, not that there were big doubts about this but...hopefully we can get something decent/good with that 1st rounder.
You can play this guy and you can’t play MCW. Solid signing. You guys act like he’ll be our number 1 or 2 option. We need bodies, and this signing allows us to lessen the load on Harden and not run him into the ground.
He is definitely better than post injury Knight. Probably takes away minutes from Danuel which is a bummer. Another streaky shooter that can fill up the stat sheets. FTs are his demons.
While I'm disgusted, in Morey I trust. And this. But yeah, f Austin Rivers. I'll support him as long as he is a Rocket, but it feels dirty.
