LOS ANGELES (AP) -- While Robert Horry fits the description of a journeyman, he's known for hitting the big shot.

He hit yet another Saturday night.

Horry made a 3-pointer with 22.2 seconds remaining in the second overtime period, then preserved the victory with a blocked shot to give the San Antonio Spurs a 125-124 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

There should seriously be a BBS award for greatest fetishist of the 94-95 championship teams and you should seriously win it. I say that without a hint of sarcasm. You are freaking relentless. My hat's off. Seriously.

    You are wrong.
My favorite team was the 93-94 Rockets!

He could have been even better if he worked on his game.

When was the last time a ROBERT HORRY TEAM not make the playoffs?
It must have been when Fresh Prince of Belair was still on prime time.

The last time a Robert Horry team did not have a Hakeem, a Shaq, or a Duncan on it...

I wish we still had Horry. From what I remember, he could play defense, rebound and was super unselfish. The only knock on him that I remember was that he was lazy on offense. :p

Bobby's probably had one of the most unique careers in NBA history. He can't just be called a gravy trainer, because he's been so unbelievably clutch throughout his career. There have been moments for all of his championship teams where a missed shot by Horry in a crucial spot could have spelled the end of their run, and he's consistantly drained them. Heck of a defender, too.

Remember when the Lakers got Glen Rice?
He was suppose to be the deep threat they needed in the playoffs?

Who was the one the who hit the big shots?

Once again, this blurs the line between if Horry is Will Smith or Vice Versa:

"He's poised. He's calm," said Lakers coach Phil Jackson. "He has a steel kind of will."

I can't hate on Big Shot Rob. Remember, this was a guy who was all but traded to the Spurs, and labeled by many as a "disappointment". The trade was rescinded, and he came back to the Rockets. Did he whine and moan? Did he sulk on the bench or try to sabotage the team that had tried to ditch him. Nope, he behaved like the consummate professional and upped his game, sending a clear message to the Rockets that he WANTED to be here. He gave us several years of hard work, and came through when it counted. I'd take him back on this team in a heartbeat, if only so he could spend the rest of his career and retire as a Rocket.
