It's funny how some of fhe same fans who argued that Schaub was an elite quarterback are the same fans who are desperate for the Texans to draft Teddy or Johnny with the #1 overall pick. Calling college kids "ELITE" who never touched an NFL field. Lol..

If the Texans signed Manning they'd have The Greatest Regular Season QB ever.

Very few if any said he was elite. Most thought he was a tier 2 QB like Eli. Last year happened, so obviously most of us think we need a new QB.

Are you done with your meaningless post? All you have done since you have been here, is to say things for attention.

I don't get this thread, no one should "remember" something that was never actually a possibility.

You stupid idiot! Let it go! Drop it already!

What did Peyton Manning really tell Andre Johnson about being a Texan?

Instead, we get to watch Fitz take 10 yard sacks when it's 2nd and goal.

Who wants a qb that wins 11+ games almost every single season, division titles, 2 SB appearances, and instantly makes a team a contender? Yeah that Peyton Manning is awful. Give me Pick Six or ****zpatrick any day over that bum.........

And to believe so called fans of the Texans were all saying Schaub was a viable QB and that we didn't need Manning because of his neck surgeries/injury risk/age/etc...

Man, we have some stupid fans.

What Rick Smith did was this..."We have Tarik Black...there is no reason for a Josh Smith"

Thank goodness DMorey is nothing like Rick Smith...I get that there is inherent risk when bringing a player like Manning coming off a major Neck surgery, but he is Payton Manning...;(

mark vandercarrschaubfitzkeenum said there was a rumour that rick smith wanted to bring in peyton but kubiak veto'd.

this team still has a ton of young talent that some just overlook, they just didn't follow a star and walked into houston. so to say the organization is a failure is only looking at things from "oh no we has no franchise qb." yeah we all know that.
how many sacks do you think our offensive line has given up this season? what if i told you only the broncos, patriots and bengals shelter their qb better?

and what if i told you only the boys and seattle run the ball better.

once we get solid consistent qb production for at least 11/16 games, we will have a shot at a title with our lines having more seasoning with obrian and the nutty professor. i'm excited about the future. can't wait! colts can't stop a nosebleed.
