Winslow is just about the only thing Miami has going for them right now. They are stuck in mediocre limbo. They probably prefer young talent over the veterans.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jcyvfgt If Bosh does retire, The Heat have a spot to fill. Throw picks in with this and I think this is legit.
I mean, if we traded for him.. Would we play him? Even with the risk of him dying on the court due to his health issues? It seems ridiculous. I feel like this is something the league should step in on.
Not likely that we would play him. We would be taking a risk that the new cba will have an amnesty clause like what was negotiated in the 2011 cba.
We really need to turn around our image first and foremost, and then that second star will fall in our lap. Daryl has done a great job grabbing blue collar guys that can shoot. We are going to play way harder and way smarter. Hopefully Cousins, or whoever the next superstar that wants to leave, takes notice.
I'd be willing to move Ariza in order to get Nerlens...Dont think a direct trade will do it, but a 3 team deal could be possible. This team needs a big. Not a big fan of Capela's progression. Wished he worked on his shot/form...and it just looks meh.
Saw a trade rumor that said: Noel to Houston Capela and McDaniels to Phoenix Knight and Goodwin to 76ers Small change to this including the Kings Houston In: Noel, Gay Phoenix In: Capela, McDaniels 76ers In: McLemore, Knight Kings In: Goodwin, Brewer, Rockets 1st Lotto protected
You say cousins but I'm thinking Paul George. He's coming up for FA and likely wants a super max, which he will get. But I wonder if a revamped image and playing next to harden (they are like a perfect match) would entice him coming here to be the robin, or if he is dead set on being "the man". I don't think bird trades him unless of comes out and says he won't resign, and if he were to say that Boston is the clear landing spot via trade followed by LA and phoenix.
According to the last TrueHoop podcast, Amin heard a rumor that if the Knicks start out poor, he will not hesitate to blow it up and build around Porzingis...Lots of quality Vets. Courtney Lee would be perfect here
Curious to see how Morey rounds out the roster. I don't think Wiltjer makes it past waivers....you've got to make room for him. The two most obvious moves are to trade Harrell or waive Pablo. If GPII proves himself, then you do both. Bev / Gordon / Ennis Harden / McDaniels / GPII Ariza / Brewer / Dekker Anderson / DMo / Wiltjer Capela / Nene / Onuaku
After watching the Rockets play tonight the Mid-season to Trade-deadline deal I see Morey moving these pieces.... I hate to say this but Patbev, Corey Brewer(if he continues to Play well), and Montrez. Not sure for who yet but I think a lot depends on the play of Corey Brewer(to get good value) and the development of KJ. If KJ can be a reliable energy guy on both ends to come off the bench like the 6th man. Gordon and Harden can start. Your back up PG is Tyler Ennis after the deal goes down. Would hate to see Pat go but you got to move Corey Brewer to get KJ more minutes.
Houston out: ariza/bev/montrez/brewer Houston in: noel/Covington/bjelica Houston outlook: even more sharp shooting even if it's at the expense of defense. Get capela some help or make him expendable. Frees up cap space and slims the roster. Philly out: noel/Covington Philly in: rubio/lavine/brewer Philly outlook: get pg help they desperately need and balance the roster in the post. Get closer to the salary for by taking Brewer while adding veteran presence. Minny out: rubio/lavine/bjelica Minny in: ariza/bev/montrez Minny outlook: get added defense and some very solid vets to groom and produce a good locker room for thibs.
Mike Scott and Hardaway Jr for Corey Brewer. http://soaringdownsouth.com/2016/10/05/mike-scott-headed-houston-rockets/ A fan can only dream
