How the hell are you going to mistake "Morey" for "Morry"? This is not a hearing or pronunciation mistake. He's got correct hearing and pronunciation: the guy just reads "Morey" (with his eyes) hundreds of times and thinks it looks like "Morry"? His Rockets literacy should be from reading with his eyes, here, and seeing everyone's name written out.
On the other hand, with Shumpert, the poster supposedly cannot even reproduce the correct sound. Coincidentally or not, he changes "shum" to an English word, "sham," that has a strongly negative connotation.
