Good call by the media on the all afternoon games.

    Quick and boring series. :D

    Bregman has thoughts:

That coonass has some balls, I just hope they all back it up.

He’s been backing it up ever since he ripped that fan on Twitter about how they should have traded him. Something tells me he will.

And we have another 4pm game. The astros have the worst schedule ever.

I kinda understand why. The NLCS game tomorrow will be 2 PM LA time.

Why not just do a day off between every start. Your best pitchers get to pitch more often and you get better TV ratings.

Yeah, since the MLB seems to insist on having no overlap between games (which I think is ridiculous), having both of Hou/Bos game 3 and 4 in prime time means both games in LA would have been 2pm PT starts.

It's probably the networks dictating but it's hard to believe that ratings wouldn't be higher overall if say our game was at 6 CST and the LA/Mil game was at 8 or 8:30 CST

I like having the option of watching both games.

It would be nice to alternate days but then you potentially have a series drag out 2 weeks.

This is right up there with the poster that suggested why Bagwell doesn’t just throw left handed...
