How horrible! An agent watching out for his client's interest!

House has been starting for the past several weeks and had stabilized that position. Gordon isn't a sf. Gordon couldn't even make it through the game last night without getting hobbled with his knee again.

Agent's interest or his client's interest? Big difference....

agent is being greedy? that's odd. he's doing what he's supposed to do and getting his client options to choose from. Is he the one that actually decides for house to accept or decline. Or is House ultimately the one who makes the decision. Let that sink in for a bit and think carefully

No, he has said the opposite. He will use it but he is holding on to it.

Tell that to GS, Morey is wrong on that, what Morey will do is pay 2 or 3 players and HOPE...we will NEVER win a championship with that strategy.

To be truthful I really see this as a leverage play by both sides but I’m not that concerned about House. I like him but he doesn’t move the needle in a way that can’t be replaced.

    Thread title:
Tilman or Tillmann? I don't know what it means.
Without House, guys will cry like a baby for missing the playoffs.

I understand it. Luxury tax is pretty punitive.

I don't think a better player is walking through the door for the remainder of the MLE though, and I think he'd still be a bargain even at the max we can pay him.

I voted "no" but it's not my money on the line so I'm not upset.

GS also has Thompson, Green, Durant, Curry and Boogie........who all make decent money - maybe Iggy and Livingston too....

How many on the Rockets are paid to the league average in comparison?

oh the cap rise doesn't have anything to do with it? how many times has that been posted over and over. Now that GS has to operate under that cap, at a time when their core guys are up for contracts with huge max numbers, we'll see how well that works out for them.

    it's total crap...

we would sign somebody off the street for a 1 year min contract and play them - but we wont extend the same offer to House... smh...

Morey is being a little b****
by trying to tie up House for 2 or 3 years at the minimum... and when he doesnt agree... Morey hurts our depth and holds the kid hostage in the G league...

and people wonder why Morey has the rep of treating players like assets...

Morey will bend over backwards for 'superstars'... but if you're an average to lower level player - Morey bends you over...

its really a sad thing to watch...

He's not holding anybody hostage... Morey could convert him today for the rest of the year... but DM wants multiple years at the min... House doesnt want to sign away 3 years at the min - so Morey is holding him hostage...
