I've heard from fans that Wade would like to have a big nose tackle, so why not give Haynesworth a chance other than his off field incidents.

You've apparently forgotten his season long hissy fit about playing in a 3-4.

Just wait - I hear JoePa might be available soon...

(Pssst, OP - we have the #1 ranked defense in the entire NFL. Seriously. I'm not making that up.)

I hate to say it but Yes.. Only because we need the depth.. What happens if Cody goes down? Obviously we are not injury bug free and depth can truly extend our defense.

Doesn't matter if we have the most balanced team in the league with the "best" defense in the league, Texans should always try to get better. I wouldn't mind picking him up for depth.

If the Pats can't get something out of him, nobody can.

Did Haynesworth make the Redskins or Pats better?

You think he would come to Houston to be depth behind Shaun Cody?

Once again...do any of you who think it's a good idea not remember his issues in Washington? HE QUIT ON THE TEAM THAT GAVE HIM $100,000,000 BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO PLAY IN THE 3-4.

A year (and a half) ago I was interested...but he's proven every critic correct. He's a cancer, he doesn't give a crap about the team, and he's let himself become woefully fat and out of shape. He's an embarrassment out there.

    Steer clear.

    FIFY

There is absolutely NO upside to brining him here. None.

I would be a better option. Seriously.

Watch him literally fail to give any effort whatsoever and then tell us how the Texans need Fat Albert Haynesworthless for "depth".

This is the same Haynesworth that disrespects Schaub. I'll pass. I'd prefer Colt45 if he'll massage Schaub's butthole
