Lin is ranked 106, and Beverley is ranked 174. Do you believe those too?

he is a top 8 small forward, and there are only five positions. the maths ain't adding up.
he should be high 30s, as he is so well rounded. mm mmm

Sure, might seem a little overrated, but if he continues and improves on the current trajectory he is deserving of this rank. If ESPN can put Brandon Jennings at 70 they sure could put Parsons at 58.

Woah. I like Parsons too, but ... 58?

Who's voting on this? Teenage girls?

You know, on second thought, after looking at that list, I think he'll end up justifying that ranking. Let's go with 58.

Higher than overpaid Joe Johnson? Not sure Klay belongs there now; he's good but he hasn't shown me enough

I love Parsons but he's becoming a tad bit overrated.

Just for fun, and grouped by team:

    Rondo
    Brook Lopez
    Deron Williams
    Kevin Garnett
    Paul Pierce
    Melo
    Chandler
    Gay
    Rose
    Noah
    Deng
    JSmith
    Monroe
    Paul George
    Hibbert
    West
    Sanders
    Horford
    Millsap
    Jefferson
    Lebron
    Wade
    Bosh
    Wall
    Nowitzski
    Harden
    Howard
    Asik
    Marc Gasol
    Randolph
    Davis
    Duncan
    Parker
    Faried
    Love
    Pekovic
    Lillard
    Aldridge
    Durant
    Westbrook
    Ibaka
    CP3
    Griffin
    Curry
    Kobe
    Gasol
    Cousins

    47 Total

There might be a handful of guys above that Parsons might be better than, but there's also about 10 guys I left off that might be better than him.

#57 for Parsons isn't that far off. That would make him an average to below average 2nd option on an average team (last year), and a great 3rd option on a very good team (this year).

Ryan Anderson is apparently better than Klay Thompson, Parsons, Nic Batum, and Joe Johnson

I'd argue that in a league where shot creation is treated as king even though only one person out of five can handle the ball at a time, efficient, turnover-free off-ball scoring deserves to be valued. And Anderson is one of the best at that particular skill. His advanced stats back up his top 60 value. (1, 2, 3) And those stats are from a down year - when teamed with Howard, Anderson was top 20 in all three of the above.
