He's not a combo guard. He's a SHOOTING guard. Like I said, go to the Spanish League forums and start the topic.
Way to provide the evidence there KilBill I still find it hilarious that you claim to know what is "widely known" overseas when you live in Arkansas. Fan forum opinions are NOT valid sources for facts.....team websites are. You lose............again
Real Madrid lineup when all players are healthy and available - the roster as it is intended by the team manager and coach of the team: PG Sergio Rodriguez/Dontaye Draper SG Sergio Llull/Jaycee Carroll (6th man) SF Rudy Fernandez/Tremell Darden - Carlos Suarez/Martynas Pocius PF Nikola Mirotic/Felipe Reyes C Mirza Begic/Marcus Slaughter/Rafael Hettsheimeir That is their full team lineup. That is what the manager of the team (GM in NBA terms) and the head coach of the team, built and intend for the team when all players are healthy. The coach of the team has said over and over that Llull is not a PG and he would not use him that way if it was not for injuries. The only reason Llull is playing at PG is because Pocius has been out with an injury and Darden, who they signed to help at SF, was not signed in time to play Euroleague games. Rudy Fernandez is intended as the team's small forward, not shooting guard. Small forward is his natural position, and playing him out of his natural position at shooting guard was one of the main reasons he didn't do well in the NBA. It's the same reason he always plays small forward with Spain's national team. Please stop implying that I am lying or trolling, when I am simply telling the truth and actually watch and follow Euroleague.
Would rep you if I could. People can disagree with you, but you're providing a lot of information. There's no loser/winner on an internet forum...just fans expressing their opinions from different angles.
Casper continues to burn up the Italian league. He had another high scoring game in a loss the other night with 32 points on 9-18(50%) shooting. They are playing tonight. I'll update later. http://www.eurobasket.com/boxScores/Italy/2013/0421_290_4159.asp
This guy is like a shorter, quicker, better shooting Beverley. He also plays with the same if not better defensive intensity.
It's surely going to be an interesting battle between Beverly, Canaan, Ware and Blue during Summer League play. Can't wait!
...Summer League, treading the same waters as luminaries such as Zoran Dragic. 2 of those players are guaranteed spots on the roster when the season rolls around. The other 2 are battling for spots on the D-League roster, with an outside chance of being the 14th/15th roster slots.
Those other two are also rookies and trust me, they are not fighting for a spot on the Vipers. Best believe, both will be fighting to be with the Rockets.
Ware is a quick, hard-nosed and pesky type of defender. He is also fairly strong. If he is able to shut some of the opposing points down in SL, look for him to be in the Rockets rotation sometime this upcoming season. After his bout in D-league of course. I personally think he is a better defender than Bev and Lin because of his quickness. He might even be the fastest guy on the team. He might be the best defender on the SL team. He may also be the smallest guy on the team.
