Rachel Nichols and Amin had a big argument about Russ and his triple doubles on The Jump. Nichols stopped short of weaponizing her whiteness and telling Amin to calm down; You can tell she was close. Nichols is so protective of Russ since she voted him MVP last year. While thy were arguing, they ran video of everyone standing around letting Westbrook grab rebounds. Amin thought it disrespects the game especially when OKC is fighting for a playoff spot. Nichols sees nothing wrong with it.

Stealing rebs from you teammates is not necessarily a bad thing because you are securing it. But the crap he pulls to get into position to do that is ultimately what separates him from being a great teammate and a winner. Russ is a selfish player by instinct. He himself says that his only friend on the court is the ball. Thats why no one else really flourishes on a Russ led team. He is 90% great and 10% flawed, but that 10% is a fatal flaw and he will never win anything significant.
