Money comes from tv deals and butts in the seats and couch. Those butts make them richbut they don't want to practice. Those butts didn't do anything to them but support them. Ungrateful.

 

A few months ago Eric Winston said he doesn't care if the NFL dies out in 20 years. Of course he quickly back-tracked. But it is clear that most of the players today don't really care about the future of the league. Not that they have to but it feels like they got theirs and now don't really care what happens to the NFL.

 

20 years? I might but the under. I think the current deals end 2022 so that's 5 year left.

 

And that's exactly why the inmates can not be allowed to run the asylum. They aren't concerned about the best interests of the asylum.

Teams turn a profit before they sell one ticket. They get more from tv than the total salary cap each year. The amount they make in ticket sales just ads to the profit.
