Even with the 4-20 that Kemp is in, the difference in Kemp/Marisnik offensively is bigger than the difference in them defensively, in my opinion Jake is a stud in the field...but Kemp has proven to be adequate out there, much much better than he was before On offense, it's not just that Jake isn't hitting, he has struck out 54 times in 112 at bats! That's horrendous Jake, 112 AB, 18 Hits, 3 BB, 54 K Kemp, 46 AB, 12 Hits, 7 BB, 6 K I wish Davis had been given more of a chance. Defensively he isn't a long term fulltime OF without a doubt. But maybe if given full time AB's he could be good enough offensively to get us through until Tucker is ready/here In any case, with Reddick back I sure hope the typical OF everyday is Springer/Reddick/Kemp with Marwin getting the occasional start out there, and Jake being used almost exclusively as a late game defensive replacement. Our FO is tremendous, I just think in this case they are giving Jake way too many chances
Lance's change up is yielding .114 OPP AVG ( 2nd lowest in MLB ) Bregman's best offensive stat might be OBP. He's @ .375 despite only batting .260. Slugging better without losing contact equals .850+ OPS.
