Yeah, this is more accurate. JJ is a 3/4. He can be a point PF in a 2nd unit at times. ISO Joe can ISO. ;-) Really JJ is a poor man's Carmelo. As a small ball PF that can shoot he would be a nice addition. JJ is a nice hedge against Anderson $hitting the bed again in the playoffs.
More than us landing someone, I’m more concerned with who teams don’t land. For example, Belinelli just got bought out. We can’t use him, but I really don’t want him going to OKC.
If the Rockets didn't already have Gerald Green on the roster this would be someone to look at. But with Green here, it seems duplicative of skill set and position.
He went to Atlanta from Phoenix to become just that, the primary ball handler. Did you watch the playoffs last year? He was getting whatever he wanted against Clippers. And yes he has played the 4 quite a bit, check his splits on b-ball ref.
He was great against the Clippers. Though inconsistent. He was not good at all game 2 for example. And not great game 3 either. But given his age and expectations, yeah he definitely outperformed. He was bad through against the Warriors. All told, he had 3 REALLY good playoff games out of 11. The other 8 were either meh or horrible.
Windy on the jump said JJ to Houston was already lined up. His source? The legend on the toilet... @cyberx !!
Can we do 3 buyouts? I know we'd have to release players. Would like to have Joe Johnson, Bogut and Tony Allen
ISO JOE and Bogut would be good enough for me... but do we give to Tarik black/QI/Troy Williams/Onuaku?
Interesting. With Ariza, Luc and Tucker I wouldn't think there would be much need for us to go after Tony Allen. But I guess if we kept OKC from getting him that would be a win
It's all about the Warriors. You put this ****er and Luc on Durant in a 7-game series and it helps our chances.
My guess is Tony Allen goes to the Thunder Bellinelli to the Wolves Iso-Joe to the Rockets or Celtics
