It’s tough to say it, but right now the Astros are a bad team. They should be fine in the long run, but they’re going to be very close to losing the division lead after a few more games.
I know Tucker hasn't been great, but he connected on that triple in CO and he looked like he was ready to break out. Seems we should be giving him some run vs Marwin.
How pathetic. Even without Altuve and Correa, we still have Springer, Bregman, Gurriel, Kemp, and White. Stassi, Gattis, even Marwin have also had hot streaks this season.
The pitchers would likely never throw the hitters under the bus but I know they are hoping secretly to themselves the front office gets a bat to breath some life into this dead lineup.
Literally no one in this lineup is even remotely in the vicinity of being on a hot streak. That’s not good at all when you’re missing guys of Altuve and Correa’s caliber.
Yeah Altuve and Correa being out is not an excuse for the rest of the lineup to be ******** the bed like they have been doing.
I love Marwin for his game 2 heroics last season and his breakout season, but he has been really really really bad this year. I’m ready for him to leave in free agency.
The 3 hitter on down all the hitters have no power or a low avg, it looks like a 67 loss team out there with. No Kyle Tucker in the Lineup. Yuli playing 2nd with Tony Kemp a lifetime 2B playing left with a .290 ba hitting 9th. J.D Davis and Tyler White are slow defenders and no IQ on hitting. Marwin should've been released by now. A gust of wind in the first and the stros could have started off with a 3-0 lead. 100% bat needed, not just waiting on Correa Altuve, every time the stros get shut down their 4-8 in the lineup is putrid. You knew it. You knewwwww it.

I never liked Marwins attitude especially when he struggles, always slamming his helmet to the ground or throwing his bat. I have seen a lot of baseball, Baseball players cannot turn around their bad season. Marwin does not have much power only avg but his avg is so bad, where his talent is gone. Looking like Ryan Anderson of the Rockets completely lost and hopeless to help the team on defense and offense. I am happy he is leaving in Free Agency.
