LOL, how could it literally be any worse? In just the last 10 months alone: 1. the US has alienated most of its allies (needlessly) in both Europe and Asia (with the exception of dictator-led Phillipines, I'm sure they'll be helpful, and of course, Father Russia...) 2. North Korea has kicked its missile & nuclear development program into overdrive, building & launching more weapons in 10 months than in the previous 10 years 3. The State Department, whose job it is to you know "handle" this stuff, is a decimated husk because of Trump/Tillerson being too lazy/dumb/evil to appoint people 4. The National Security Staff (the part that hasn't resigned or been indicted for being Russian agents) spends its time babysitting or ignoring the president (who his own SOS and NSA describe as a "****ing moron" and an "idiot") 5. Kim Jong Un and POTUS threaten each other with thermonuclear destruction OVER ****ING TWITTER on a weekly basis. HOW COULD THAT LITERALLY BE ANY WORSE? Short of an actual mad-max style nuclear holocaust - I defy you to come up with a realistic worse scenario. There really isn't one at all. North Korea is empowered, the US is isolated, and the president is a ****ing moron who has to be managed around lest he get us all killed This is the actual reality right now. It doesn't get much worse than that.
Actually, Obama's foreign policy was far worse. His miscalculation on pulling out of Iraq without a plan directly resulted in the rise of ISIS and the European migrant crisis. Your points 1-5 haven't resulted in anything serious. Sorry, but words over twitter don't compare to ISIS. You're "faux outrage" is nothing compared to the real world atrocities that Obama directly caused.
....and just like that, when confronted with facts, SamFisher goes shhhhhhhhhh. LIberals only care about appearing tolerant and being politically correct. They literally care about this more than real world atrocities that Obama created such as ISIS' rise and the European migrant crisis.
You know that Bush started the **** show in Iraq, right? And the whole process of destabilizing the Middle East was started decades ago. Typical, pointing fingers at Obama instead of being honest.
Says the one going awol all the time after being called out and even abandoning his own threads, quite ironical.
bigtexx hated Obama golf and vacation with passion, but said nothing of Trump's OSD with golfing. No cred. Enough said. Bush destabilized the ME with his ill advised war on terrorism. Bush is also mainly responsible for NK mess today. Both of which will be nothing in comparison of what could be happening in Asian and the world if Trump or Kim acted on their personal feud.
Status of forces agreement was signed in 2007 that stated all combat troops must leave by 2011. That was the Bush admin decision. In fact Obama's admin asked the Iraqi govt for an extension and they refused. Ignoring the sovereignty of a regime the US just placed less than a decade ago and doing what would essentially be a second invasion in the same country in less than a decade would be absurd. Again, blaming Obama for the disaster in Iraq is like blaming the clean up crew for the BP oil spill and not BP.
Actually many generals opposed Trump regarding his transgender ban and also his comments following Charlottesville. Just because Trump has appointed former generals to his Administrtion doesn't mean he always listens to generals. If anything Trump likes generals and military imagery more than Obama so the "seen but not heard" is more fitting.
Regarding NK the question I have for those who are criticizing past Presidents actions do you think things are better now? Yes Trump has taken a different route than his predecessors and what we've seen is more provocations and faster nuclear and missile advancement from NK. Do you really consider those to be more successful?
What ignorance. Look at the liberals deflecting blame from Obama. If Bush started it, then why did the European migrant crisis only happen after Obama's horrible miscalculation to leave Iraq without a plan? And chowd - Obama should have revisited what was agreed to in 2007! That's no excuse at all.
You can't revisit a deal when the other end has their own sovereignty you dip ****. Sovereignty we just put in place less than a decade ago. If they say, no it's either we agree or do a second invasion. That's stupid. You are being unpragamtic to twist your narrative. The mistake was going into a pointless war. That's the end.
Totally false and uneducated points from you! You can always renegotiate. All Obama wanted was short-term political points for "ending the war in Iraq"! He was motivated by selfish political motives. ...and look at the absolute destruction and atrocities that resulted. Europe is totally screwed, and those folks that migrated there aren't returning to their homelands...
Uhh because the Syrian Civil War didn't start until 2011? Only something like 10% of the migrants to Europe have been Iraqis, unless you're actually saying that Obama pulling the US out of Iraq in 2011 resulted in ISIS spilling over into Syria, therefore causing Syrian refugees to head for Europe while ignoring all the other issues in Syria? All while absolving Bush of any blame. LMAO considering who I'm replying to that's definitely what you believe.
They also have about 1000 ballistic missiles as well, so Japan will get hit too. Anti-ballistic technologies are still in their infancy and not all that effective. Remember the recent Saudi "shoot down" of a Houthi missile at Riyadh airport using 5 Patriot Pac-3 missiles? The one in which Trump claimed “Our system knocked the missile out of the air. That’s how good we are. Nobody makes what we make, and now we’re selling it all over the world”. Well apparently the interception was actually a complete failure, all 5 Patriot missiles missed and the only reason why the Houthi missile didn't hit the airport was because it was extremely inaccurate. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/12/04/world/middleeast/saudi-missile-defense.html
