Anybody have any clue what that new 3 tiered structure is that they are building on the left field lightpole. Looks pretty big and it could be anything from new video boards to extra advertisements. Seems to cover up a lot and would surely block the train when its on the move for a good bit.

We noticed that at the game last night. It could be 3 individual banner ads, but whatever it is it looks like it'll block the view of downtown and the train.

If that's used for advertising, that'd look terrible. Apparently, no one can talk about it. Blocking the train(no one probably cares), blocking part of the backdrop, blocking the pennants, which may or may not be relocated. Hey Now, what do you know? ;)

Ive only seen brief glimpses on Tv, and it didn't look too bad. That picture makes it look gigantic. If that is advertisements t will look terrible. Kinda curious why its so hush-hush about it. Saw a Allyson Footer tweet where she said it would be announced later.

Once we reach the end of the throwbacks, Crane can randomly unveil, on this giant billboard, our new logo and/or uniforms.

Cool idea if it was just a banner and not a permanent structure. I think whatever it is equals the end of the train. It covers a lot of the track and with the new uni's and logo it seems we might be getting away from the railroad theme even though union station is still a major stadium component.

That thing is huge. *cue swoly*

Blocks the train....and quite a bit of the view. Hope it's not ads.

But like you guys have said, with it being so hushed.....hope it's something more.

Looks like Crane is Pujols-proofing those poor windows before the move to the AL.

Spot for 6 new sponsorship banners. I'm going to be *very* curious to see if Citgo is on it. My guess is they didn't renew and it became open season for what's the *second* best sponsorship location in the park.

the whispers I've heard are that it's going to be a huge picture of Mattress Mack's smiling face with "gallery furniture" spelled out on his teeth

Is this one of your tantalizing "secret insider" tidbits or just speculation?

    That could be interesting.

Or maybe "Glock handguns advertisement, with a picture of George Zimmerman" (no D&D)

We could use a good proctologist ad at the park.
