Need some help here.... Im thinking of switching from the Iphone 4 to the Samsung Galaxy S2. Has anyone made this switch? Pros? Cons? I've had an Iphone since the day it 1st came out

I switched from a Iphone 3G to a GS II back in October. The only downside has been the battery life. Outside of that, I really don't have any complaints about functionality. They both did everything I need them to do. I found it easier to type one-handed with the iPhone, but that thing's screen was miniscule compared to the GS II's and I'd take the latter's screen over it (duh - the 3G was an ancient phone).
Day late an a dollar short. Par the course for apple. On the other hand, hold the Note and its overwhelming at first, but now I realize how much easier it is to text, type, read the internet watch videos etc etc. Heck Id rock a 6 inch phone. Maybe by then the Iphone will move up to 4.3 inches. Officially.
When is a Phone too big? We are soon going to have 24" flat screens in our pockets zapping our semen. That Note Tablet/Phone thing is ridiculous...
I'm 6'4" and 210 lbs. Holding an Iphone is rediculous to me. Its downright girly feeling. Quick someone post the BK small hands picture.
Check that....ridiculous. Take a long trip and watch Netflix on an Iphone then on a Note. Tell me which you prefer.
What is this Iphone people speak of? I have heard of and owned an iPhone, but this Iphone just doesn't make sense to me. Windows phone for the win.
new rumors http://www.bgr.com/2012/04/09/iphon...d-new-sleek-look-to-launch-in-q3-topeka-says/ iPhone with 4-inch display and ‘new sleek look’ to launch in Q3, Topeka says Likely offsetting an earlier note suggesting Apple’s run may soon slow, a new report on Monday suggests that the Cupertino-based technology giant is reportedly preparing to launch a redesigned iPhone handset in the third quarter this year, featuring a 4-inch display and a sleek new unibody case. While meeting with supply chain players in China, Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White received indications that Apple’s next iPhone is going to be a completely new device. “The buzz around the new iPhone 5 is growing in Asia and speculation around the timing of the launch has begun,” White, who raised his price target on Apple stock to $1,001 last week, wrote in a note to investors. Read on for more. “In our view, this will be the most significant iPhone upgrade with a four-inch screen and a new, sleek look that we believe will require a Unibody case,” White said. “This new, sleek look will be the most important reason that consumers decide to upgrade to the iPhone 5, while we believe the addition of 4G will also attract buyers of the new device. We believe the iPhone 5 ramp for the December quarter could be extraordinary, dwarfing previous launches and driving the stock closer to our $1,001 price target.” White believes that preliminary component production for Apple’s next-generation iPhone could begin in June, and he expects the phone to launch in August or September. An earlier report citing a Foxconn executive suggested that Apple’s new iPhone will launch in October, and BGR exclusively reported late last year that Apple plans to release a new iPhone with a completely redesigned antenna system this fall.
I'm hoping for an earlier launch, around July. Apple seems to time these things to not be too close to Christmas so they can sell more to the early adopters.
They usually time the releases so that most contracts for previous iphone owners are up so they can get on a new contract
Depending on what they do with the aspect ratio, a 4 in screen could easily fit on the existing 2.3x4.5 design. My guess is that they'll make it a few mm wider (2.5 in?). 4 inch makes a little more sense vs 4.6, since the 4G will already present a real battery challenge.
