while i think the warriors had something to play for more than most games, i would say they still played like they just assumed they'd figure out a way to win in the end and then suddenly a few missed 3's and a weak call and they didn't. they might have been better off being down by 17 and getting fired up than getting up by 17 and letting off the gas. strangely they probably played harder on defense than offense. seemed to play with no force on offense.

also, how many games has curry had that hair. that is, uhhh...not good.

I mean, she had to. It would be like if he told her a dress made her look fat lol.

From reading parts of his biography (Golden, by Marcus Thompson), it seems like Curry has a real dislike for his babyfaced look and how people discount him because of it, so he's trying extra hard to look different (the scraggly beard). It looks weirder on him than Lin's choice of hair.

Kyrie the God does it again. I am so glad he left Cleveland to create his own legacy. He was Robin with Lebron, now he's Batman with the Celtics.

Curry needs to go back to the baby face assassin look. This thug look or whatever he wants to call it is making him look annoying.

Jaylen Brown. Wow. I seriously love this team. They are young and so good and so much fun to watch. I can't wait until Hayward comes back. Celtics are the team of the east. Cavaliers are in trouble.

By suicide... Watched that video a couple of weeks ago, he didn't seem like a sad person. RIP Trevin Steede.

I like Kyrie but he didn't do **** besides hit some free throws at the end. He sucked less than Curry so there's that.

Celtics got a lot of favourable calls, but Green again gets away with a lot. If we get that ref treatment at home, especially in clutch time, then the league better watch out. That crowd definitely helped, in particular during that 19-0 run. Can you imagine that @ TC?? We would score even more.

Kyrie da god? Wtf how can he be batman he isn't even the best player on his team. I would put him third behind Horford and Brown, dude was 4-16 this game its not like he hard carried his team.

Irving is being treated as the face of the franchise but just look at his stats compared to Horford, its pretty clear who is the one who is carrying the Celts. This is why I hate the whole "build his own legacy" narrative that is being used, Celts won all their games without Irving, he hasn't exactly been the biggest difference maker how come he gets all the credit? Thomas did a much better job last year and nobody said he was building his own legacy wtf.

Depression is like a heart attack, it has no warning or symptoms suddenly boom you are crying and want to kill urself. Dude can be laughing with you then go home and shoot himself in the head. Chester Bennington for example was talking about how excited he was for the album and tour the week he hanged himself.

The team appears to be much better, well beyond expectations, and he’s the new star on he team. So the natural tendency is to give him the credit. The fact that Boston has mainly improved on defense, not offense, seems lost on them. I do think we should give Kyrie credit for being a team player and not trying to dominate the offense.

Has Irving significantly improved his defense, whichbwould account for the better team performance? He has been ok but to me he doesn't seem vastly improved from his Cavs days.

I'm all about giving Irving credit but he is being touted as the reason for the Celts win when its just not true. I mean last year everyone can see Isiah Thomas was carrying the team. This year its pretty clear Irving is not the biggest diff maker but 90% of the credit seems to go to him and you even have hosts saying he should be in the MVP conversation. How much of a joke is that?

Shrug. They have the longest win streak going. Once they come down to earth for a bit the MVP talk will dissipate. There’s no point getting worked up over MVP chatter this early in the season.
