    [Myth: Lin is chinese.

    Reality: Lin is chinese the way Lebron James is African. He is a deeply religious, Harvard educated, American born Christian of Taiwanese descent. He doesn't speak a lick of Mandarin and his favorite food(from what i've heard) is buffalo wing. If he isn't American, nobody is.]

    That is what I copied from RealGM. I feel it is funny. No matter how you argue, his race is still same as Yao ming, that is Chinese, there is nothing to do with citizenship or religion or his language ability. Favorite food? LOL

    Sorry Pete, but Yao Ming's race is not Chinese...and neither is Lin's....in fact, "Chinese" is not a race.

    Their race is Asian/Pacific Islander and their ethnicity would be Chinese or Taiwanese.
