790 management is terrible. I can't believe the flagship treats the rox like that.

 

Don't care to listen, but what exactly is going on..?

 

I stopped listening to 790 the moment Innes took over Charlie. Charlie may have been dry to listen to but at least he was knowledgeable about sports. If I want shocking takes and barely any sports talk I've got plenty other choices to choose from.

 

He is a change of pace from the same old tired sports talk that has dominated Houston radio for years. Do I agree with everything he says or does, nope. But I do enjoy his show.

 

Firing Charlie Pallilo for this fat, uneducated, mouth breather has got to be one of the most moronic decisions EVER.

I'm sorry, but, Charlie might be the most boring human on earth.

 

I heard this Innes guy for the first time last week. So, his schtick is to be as annoying as possible? Not sure why he has any listeners at all.

Morey and threads like this are giving Innes exactly what he wants.

 

He was ragging on charlie so much for being 23rd in the rating and then he basically lost most of Charlie's audience. Charlie was like the only guy who talked about all sports not just football.

 

As a sports station, KBME is dead. They need to shut the thing down and resurrect under a different format.

For a short period a few years ago, they had a good lineup and were on a roll. They were the only sports radio I listened to.

When a station is desperate enough to hire garbage like Innes, it needs to be euthanized.

 

He's not controversial. He's an idiot on parade. That's all.

 

See, I can't see him as controversial. That would imply that he has a point that may be unpopular but sticks with it. Inness is a troll. He is the radio version of click bait. He is a carnival barker, a cheap and cheesy ass clown who tries to manufacture a point of agitation now and then just to appear edgy or substantial. In truth, the is neither. Listening to him makes you feel like you just ate a dozen bags of Doritos — disgustingly full, yet still empty, devoid of any sustenance. I was glad the day he left Houston radio and wanted to puke when I heard he would replace Charlie. Maybe Charlie was too dry and acerbic for some but he knew his stuff. Man, did 790 do a complete 180º with that one.

So, if you happen to like Josh that's cool. I just look forward to the day he gets replaced by an adult.

 

I will be honest I thought he was some what entertaining during his days at 610. But after that he was very hard to listen to. He has no substance and can not talk about anything without extreme criticism. I can barely listen to him for 2 mins these days without changing the station. Only reason I sometimes listen to him is because 610 might be in a commercial but it has come to the point I would rather listen to the commercials.

 

I met Charlie at a private screening for the Clutch City documentary couple of years back, sad they let him go. Dude really talked about all the sports, not just sticked to one agenda.
