Honestly I think you all are being a bit too cavalier about our playoff seeding. I'm all for pulling the starters at the start of the fourth in a blowout instead of the 3 minute mark, but we're 2 games out of fifth and 3.5 games out of eighth, it's not time to start coasting.
Perhaps if Paul was limited to 28-30 minutes and no back to backs, his legs wouldn’t feel a little heavy.
We got Rockets "fans" saying they wouldn't blame Harden for demanding a trade, while at the same time demanding that D'Antoni not worry about Harden's feelings.
That last seed (8th) is putting a lot of pressure on the teams ahead of it by winning some much. If that team ever slacked off, our guys could rest some.
PJ should be placed on that minutes restriction as well. He is far from where he was last season heading into postseason. Just looks like his legs and confidence (offensively) are shot.
I agree that Harden should be resting for these next two games. And, yet, we all know what happens when the Rockets play a team they should easily beat. Gotta keep the .50 cal loaded and waiting in the wings in case the rest of the team decides to show up with their .22s to go hunting.
I trust the team vs bad opponents MORE when harden or Paul is out because then it turns on our killer instinct a bit more and we don't take them as lightly .
Isn't that the truth he is gonna get hurt if they don't limit those minutes. We need to be preparing for Austin Rivers to have to take over a bit.
Green at least has the potential to get hot and provide instant offense. He's done it several times. When he's HOT he's hot and when he's cold he's really cold. But Shumpert only has the potential to be. . .. Shumpert. Haven't seen much out of him on either side of the ball
