This is not about the Rockets not wanting Melo. This is about Melo wanting out. MDA is stifling his game and he simply wants out to go to a different situation in LA with Lebron. Melo wants to attack closeouts and get his shot off. He wants to use the possession. MDA wants him to swing the ball. Melo doesn't want to do that unless the receiver is open for the shot. Melo wants to use the dribble to attack the paint/rim and make a play, whether a jumper, a rim finish, or flipping into a post up. He wants to use the possession if he's not open for the catch-and-shoot. And MDA don't want it. Even though Melo is an elite post up player with the efficiency to back up using him to post up, MDA isn't going to allow it. This is going to turn into a huge mistake if we let him go. He's going to go to the Lakers and burn us later. Because he still has elite offensive skills. And if we think we're going to go anywhere with Clark and Capela starting at the 4 and 5 then were sadly mistaken. I like everything about Clark except his slow feet. I think he's a legit NBA player and I love his story. And I'm rooting for the kid. But we're not going to win a championship with Clark as a top 5 rotation piece. Especially playing next to Capela. We should have started Melo. Put up with his bad defense. Got him off early to get production out of him, then let him run at the 5 with Capela out. MDA mismanaged this situation. ................... ................... Melo wants out now. Morey is trying to convince him to give it another shot. Morey wants to hold him until Dec. 15 for trade purposes. (Lakers/Miami/Washington). Melo wants to go now. It could get sticky with us trying to hold him for trade after Dec. 15.
i think everyone here wants to know if this been verified by the spreadsheets first and foremost laughing hilariously that you had to fit capela in their somehow. rinse wash cycle repeat
You're like a dog with a bone he simply will not give up. Capela is the bone between your teeth. It's kind of predictable, 'Holic. You can't seem to make a post, much less start a thread, without tossing Capela into the "problem" bin at the five and dime. With all due respect.
I spoke to a source close to a source close to a source close to a source of Melo's cousin's best friend. He wanted out, but after having a long discussion with CP3, Daryl Morey, and some self-reflection he's decided to gut this season out in hopes of a championship. Also he loves Clint Capela and thinks he's a good option at the 5. I should start my own thread, everyone will believe I'm an insider for sure! inside. deez. nuts.
Imagine wanting to change the blueprint that was one win away from the Finals in favor of a defensive sieve and delusional, washed up offensive player.
But I've seen birds swim, fish fly, and now people on some corners of the internet are arguing that water isn't wet. The world is going crazy, and only the Rockets winning can stop my slow slide into insanity... but the one certainty is that some posters will never believe in Clint Capela.
Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine? No, but I do it anyway because it's sterile and I like the taste.
Mr. holic, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
