Im not even a fan of Black Ops but every Battlefield game blows, even a treyarch made COD game is infinitely better.
I didn't really find anything much special about it besides the story. The story alone is what carries the game. Otherwise it's basically just GTA with horses and cowboy outfits.
I tried to play Battlefield BC 2...Really, really pushed myself to try and enjoy it. I did. For about 2 weeks. Then it was just stale. There is just so much more action in the cod games. There are game modes in COD where if you want to win, you have to play as a team to do well. Sure, you can play a random game and win, but if you want to consistently win in some of the objective game modes, team play is crucial.
the biggest different for me is the control you have of your character. the amount of character control you have in any COD game is unmatched by any other series. Battlefield games just feel so robotic in comparison. I have never understood the argument that you dont have to play a team to win in COD, of course you do, just like any game.
True, forgot to mention that...the responsiveness in controlling the COD character is much better, and its not even close (at least on the console versions).
