This is one specific reason why I wanted Obama in the general election. Not only will America take a good look at itself in the mirror, we get to see the reaction. What happens the next 31 days will reveal a lot about this country.

If the smear tactics work, I'll join you.

Ah, the good ol' purposefully obtuse route. You know what they're trying to do and it's bull****. They can't win on the issues so now they're trying to scare simpletons into voting for McCain by trying to get them to associate Obama...wait, why am I even bothering. Shame on you and all other Republicans who fall for and/or support this crap. Truly, there is no more shame left on that side of the aisle.

    Of course it's his name!

The question is does a weak minded individual (such as yourself) consider it as some sort of association with muslim terrorists?

Who wants to start a thread about McCain's ties to the convicted felon G. Gordon Liddy?

Oh...you mean like Obama using his race as an issue? It's because he doesn't look like the other guys on the dollar bill?

Thanks for the personal attack. Typical.
No. I don't believe he has associations with muslim terroists.

We don't refer to John McCain as John Sidney McCain III So why start bringing up Obama's middle name now?

One comment about three months ago? You're right, that's been the basis of his entire campaign. You should try out for the Rockets with that stretch.

Uhm that wasn't the first instance of race being inserted in the campaign. His statement was not inserting race into the campaign but trying to remove it from the campaign by showing that even though his opponents are using race to try and point out that Obama is different from mainstream America so don't vote for him, he's showing that it won't matter.

Obama better be on his best guard tomorrow evening for the next debate. John McCain is becoming more and more unhinged in his attacks.

    The desperation is becoming palpable.

I've already lost faith in the average American voter after the past 8 years.

It's time to fight fire with fire. Obama has run a sleazy campaign, insulting McCain's age since Day 1 and launching an all out assault on Sarah Palin and her family. He has propagated lies about McCain's record and his service. What's fair is fair -- it's time for McCain to take off the gloves and expose Barack Hussein Obama for what he is -- an inexperienced, woefully unqualified candidate with radical friends, a former citizen of Kenya, a former member of a church that subscribes to Black Liberation Theology, a person with deep connections to Islam, a person who quite possibly had Indonesian citizenship, a person with a racist wife, and a person who went to Kenya to rail on America.

I think it's time, we give it up
And figure out what's stopping us
From breathing easy, and talking straight
The way is clear if you're ready now
    The volunteer is slowing down
And taking time to save himself

    The little cracks they escalated
And before you know it is too late
For making circles and telling lies

You're moving too fast for me
And I can't keep up with you
Maybe if you slowed down for me
I could see you're only telling
    Lies, lies, lies
    Breaking us down with your
    Lies, lies, lies
    When will you learn

    The little cracks they escalated
And before you know it is too late
For making circles and telling lies

You're moving too fast for me
And I can't keep up with you
Maybe if you'd slowed down for me
I could see you're only telling
    Lies, lies, lies
    Breaking us down with your
    Lies, lies, lies
    When will you learn

So plant the thought and watch it grow
Wind it up and let it go

    And your next President!

This is great! I mean truly. This is exactly what McCain is trying to do! Project his own failings as a candidate and a man onto Obama. It's the ultimate "black is white, up is down" mind set of Karl Rover and the republican slime machine of the last eight years.

NOT THIS TIME! NOT THIS YEAR! THIS IS OUR MOMENT!!!
