Ryan please get used to shooting at Toyota center. You'll be in MVP conversation if you also shoot 40%+ in home games
He's a fine player, just terribly overpaid. It was obviously a problem this summer and will likely continue to be a problem over the next couple of years. Also, probably gonna have to upgrade the starting PF position if we want to challenge GS even a little.
I only have one message for Ryan Anderson . . . . . .. Agent Smith . . .if you would be so kind. . . . Agent Smith: It seems that you've been living two lives. One life, you're RYNO. Anderson, 3 POINT SPECIALIST for a respectable NBA TEAM. You have a DECENT PERCENTAGE, YOU GRAB A FEW REBOUNDS, and you... help your landlady carry out her garbage. The other life is lived in HOME GAMES, where you are a hack alias "RY-NNNOOOOOOOo" and are guilty of virtually every NBA crime we have a law for. One of these lives has a future, and one of them does not. Rocket River
He already got a ton of open shots last year smh. Anderson should stop his beta b**** personality and learn from his bff Eric Gordon. Shooting 40% from 3 doesn't matter if he only takes 8 3 pt shots, he should be taking 12 3 pt shots at minimum to justify his salary. Like what I told Mathrocker at only 8 3 pt attempts a night there is only 1.2 ppg diff between 40% (elite) and 35% (standard for stretch 4s), and 1.2 ppg is not enough to justify Anderson's 18M salary vs other much cheaper alternatives like Frye, Patterson etc.
Maybe he will respond to this the way Robert Horry did when he thought he was being traded to the Pistons for Sean Elliott. Time to ball out like it doesn't matter anyways.
I just hope Harden, CP3, Morey and the others didn’t shut him out...I don’t like the way they’ve handled this Melo Ryno situation publicly so maybe behind closed doors it’s all good but I doubt it..
Dear Ryno, sry to put you on sale in the summer. let's beat okc and show the world you r better than melo
Well, technically Ryno was never on the table since it was Gordon and Ariza the Knicks wanted. Look for Ryno to put up 50 on the Knicks at MSG this year.
The problem isn't Ryan Anderson the player. The problem is how much Daryl Morey paid him. I don't think anyone here would care that he's our starting PF if he was earning his real value per season. It's because he's so overpaid that he's held us back from making major moves to become legit championship contenders instead of hoping we can give GS trouble in the playoffs while still not even certain we can beat SA. ie: pretenders. Not getting Melo is and should be a huge bummer in the grand scheme of the league, and trading away your best defender/starting SF and your 6th man of the year for Melo wasn't the answer. We needed the 3 star lineup + great depth. We've personally seen what 3 stars and no depth can get you back in the 90s. It didn't cut it back then and it's not going to cut it today. No one stands a chance against GS, so now all i can root for is that we actually get out of the 2nd round for the first time in CP3's career and give him an experience that will make him want to stay beyond this season and CP3 and Harden do major recruiting next offseason. Oh, and part of that involves Ryno having a great season so we can actually use him in a trade next offseason or at the deadline even.
He can shoot well everywhere else. So his issue probably has nothing to do with lack of practice. It's probably mental.
I wasn't talking about practice. I'm talking about his issues with shooting in the Toyota Center, whether it's the colors or the depth perception or whatever.
If Ryan can shoot better, say 42% , I don't know if there's a better fit for this team. Who would you rather have as your starting PF? He's 4-5M overpaid right now. He'd be worth it if he gets better overall.
