They didn't replace Jordan with those guys. Those were just rotation players that got added on and remained when Jordan came back. The biggest of all them was Tony who was drafted years before Jordan left and would have come over anyways. The rockets replaced dalembert/camby with Asik.
Kobe needs to pass the ball. Players will step up if they have to. Kobe apologist will always give the reason that everyone was playing like shyt and only Kobe was providing something on the floor. BS. Look at how the spurs played when pops NWT'd his big 3. They almost beat Miami regardless. Lakers are so deep that missing just Kobe means nothing when you still have 3 all star HOF's on your team. They might be in a funk for awhile without mamba's scoring but once they get it clicking, Nash, Gasol, and Howard is some serious firepower/dominance.
Kobe's looking at you, Smush Parker!! 151 games without an assist is a lot. I'm pretty sure the guy was doubled at some point in those games. How can you not get 1 assist at least? Pretty telling tale imo.
