Earlier reports said specifically " The Rockets know this whole thing could reach into training camp in August and September". It seems as though thats exactly what is going to happen as the Knicks hope Melo changes his mind or another deal comes along.
I guess by Friday Yule C if @Pounder is a Legendary Pounder Or if he gets Pounded hard by CF and the Hammer Ban
I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have never known a single part who worked for an NBA team in any capacity
Those Mike Rice tweets don't make complete sense to me. I guess there's some scenario that could send Melo here and Kyrie to NYK, but thinking about it makes my head hurt. Whatever.
I only know one of the girls that is on the rockets Snapchat frequently. We graduated together and she dated one of my best friends. She's always posting snaps in the locker room but I doubt she knows anything
At this point I refuse to see any trade for Melo happening unless we include Capela, and that would only happen if we signed Javale Mcgee to the minimum (just what I think, not an actual source now...) Though I considered Ariza a possibility to be included (after the Luc signing), I just can't see Morey doing that considering how close he is with Harden and Paul. Also teams WANT Capela, they may want Ariza, but probably more for his expiring. And I know there is the argument that no way we'd give up Capela, he's so young and going to keep improving, but you have to think Morey will chase Lebron next summer if we have Paul and Melo, and for that I pretty much think Morey would pack Clint's bags for him; never mind the fact that Clint will be getting paid next year. So what say you? Melo and Mcgee or Ryno and Capela?
I know there were multiple options presented to NY by the Rockets and I know the expectation was that a deal would be reached. I know the Pistons were involved as a willing third team. I verified that through a Rockets employee and someone in Chicago. Having said that, if this deal was close to being done, I have to believe it would have already been done. That doesn't mean Anthony doesn't end up in Houston, that is still a really strong possibility; but waiting for it to happen I think is counter productive.
