No it's totally common for a 12, 16, & 18 pick to be traded for the #1 pick. Happens just about every year.
Ohhhhhh. See, I was confused before, but this post clears things up for me: you know nothing about NBA prospects. With this in mind, all of your posts now make sense.
It won't happen with this years draft class......unless Davis is a bust. We are all dreaming if we think Anthony Davis will be in a Rockets uniform. This team had a chance to get a player of his caliber......we decided to float instead.
Being serious.....yeah I agree it won't happen with this 2013 draft class or any draft class for the next century.
i think he meant Dwight, LeBron etc situations. or was just being sarcastic. either way, i don't think he meant it to be taken at face value
Lol, that's like saying there isn't much difference from Kevin Durant and Rashard Lewis, other than where they were drafted. Classic postbadlee comparing two players just because they have similar builds. "Terrence Jones is a lesser Dwight Howard. But I never compared Jones to Howard."
Anthony Davis, barring injury, is a lock to be a franchise player. Everyone GM in the league, especially Morey, would do that trade.
Come on Tricky Ricky! That's nothing like Durant and Lewis. Davis: 6'10, 220lbs = 14pts 10rbs 5blks a game Henson: 6'11 220lbs = 14pts 10rbds 3blks a game Are you guys kidding me? You all are playing right? Like i said, they had similar seasons as far as averages.
Here's a little more fuel for the fire. Both White and (especially)Jones are going to give Davis trouble every time we play them. Take that non-believers.
You're basically coming at this though with the assumption all four guys have equal talent. Davis is probably the most gifted athlete since Lebron. I don't think he'll be as dominant as Lebron (since LBJ plays SF, this guy will play PF/C and will accumulate more wear and tear), but he'll be pretty close. I have no idea why you think Lamb etc. is worth Davis. Hell if it was allowed DM would probably trade the entire roster and 2 picks for Davis.

I am not really sure why I am replying to your post as you're clearly delusional. Anyway, you have to go beyond the stats. Stats don't reflect everything about a player's potential. My second point is that this was Anthony Davis's first year in college vs John Henson's 3rd year. Oh well, that's not going to convince you of anything, isn't it?
