last 2 playoff games, he has 0 sacks, 2 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 QB hit we got shut out & blown out by Kansas City we got destroyed by Indianapolis I love JJ but his only playoff highlight of his career was the pick 6 against Cincy almost a decade ago Fuller being out is more important than JJ being in. In my opinion.
@deb4rockets maybe you were right. I think the Texans will win a Super Bowl this year! #itshappening #2020vision #2020isouryear #LetsGoTexansandRocketsandAstros
JJ Watt has heart. You think coming back from a pectoral muscle is going to stop him. He’s got a beast of an offense. The rest of the defense has stepped up as well
They are still better with him. Fuller is more valuable though at this point. It just changes the offense dramatically. Its crazy because he has missed so much time it really wasn't obvious till this season but the games he has played and hasn't are so different
I really hope you're right but JJ has been a no show in the playoffs and returning from his injury doesn't have me excited as I know I should be
yea with this current defense, we are better with him and it'll lift the teams spirit as well I hope he proves me wrong and makes a difference
I thought we already knew this like a week ago But what does this mean? It is likely this is JJs last hoorah. I dont see why he is rushing and risking further injury unless he wants to stop playing (or leave the team) after this season.
A torn pec is not a debilitating injury. Most who have it make a full recovery after surgery and feel very few negative effects. I highly doubt JJ is hanging it up after this year based on a torn pec.
It could re-rupture. If it is not totally healed, you favor other muscles and over-extend them. A torn pec could lead to shoulder or biceps if he drugs up and ignores the pain. This is assuming it hasn't totally healed.
Having JJ will be great, even if it's just as a mascot, of sorts. He'll get the crowd pumped up, he'll draw double teams, etc. His impact cannot be understated, especially against a young qb.
Props to JJ. The world would be a much better place if everyone had the heart and work ethic this guy has.
Watt returns, leads the defensive push... Watson regains MVP form... O'brien figures out how to coach... and we win the Super Bowl. Spoiler And then... I wake up
