There's quite a few people on here who can't read nor can they comprehend what they've read.

The thread title SPECIFICALLY SAYS, "James Harden at 28 is better than Michael Jordan at 28".

"None of Harden's top years are anywhere near Jordan's?

    What's your definition of "near"?

If not winning any MVP's nor possessing any rings nor having any MVP awards in the finals at THIS STAGE IN THEIR CAREERS than to answer your question NO Harden's top yrs aren't anywhere near Jordan's.

This doesn't mean that Harden hasn't had some really great seasons thus far, HOWEVER most of what he's accomplished has been in the regular season as he disappeared in the finals against the Heat and we know what he did in gm 6 last yr against the Spurs.

Apparently you fall into the can’t read category. The poster I replied to said Harden doesn’t come near to Jordan at any age at any time.

I mean what we have seen over his tenure is first since Jordan to do it production. Don’t know how many times whether it be games or year long stats it’s Harden the first since MJ....

Doesn’t have an MVP? Sure but has deserved at least 1 and is in line to get his first this year.

So when I read nowhere near Jordan at any time I have to strongly disagree. And again I don’t think Harden has had a single year better than Jordan’s very top years, but close(near) absolutely.

my response to reading wasn't directed towards you (sorry for the confusion).

However I stand by my comments about Harden and Jordan.

now, what you saying is that robert horry russel, kareem all were better than Jordan? because they all had more of the accomplishments, rings and/or mvps?

you see the only criteria can be statistics or eye test... just because MJ had better teammates or has had the help of goat coach it doesn't mean he was better than James

mj was more energetic player(just like westbrook) ill give you that but not better

so you run out of arguments?
    thank you

btw i am watching 1995 plaoyffs now ECSF.. and both teams Orlando as well as Bulls were very meh...cp3 and harden would have a field day and would be 2 best players and most talented on the court...2018 rockets would destroy both of them

James Harden is not better than the guy with the superior shoes or Killmonger

He has to actually achieve many things to be on par with him

When Michael played in Houston, the Summit was always sold out.

    Lower Bowl, Upper Bowl.

It's unfair to compare any player to Jordan.

Harden is fine, I don't see why people even need to make the comparison.

Many other stars or superstars have vanished from earth in games, Harden did not vanish, he just quit playing normal bball in certain series or games.

James gave up on MDA 's ridiculous game plan of Harden banging with 7ft post players in the paint, handling the ball 99.9% of the time, setting the table for his non all star teammates, while scoring 40, and playing uptempo for 40+ minutes a game every game. It took its toll.

lol its ok for lebron to 'protest against the owner to get him some help' and has the leagues worst minus plus in the span of 20 games and its a mortal sin for harden if he does it for one single game

one is leadership and being a king and the other is quitting

I am just saying virtually anyone who was tagged star has quit in one or more games......you cannot compare their worst, usually you compare their best games.
