How Smith hasn't found a spot in the league is beyond me. When Curry got hurt this season and he was given good minutes, Ish really produced.

Ish is too good of a pass first PG to go to the D-League.

Why didn't the Suns pick him up? He will learn a lot under Nash

The Spurs? Why don't we pick him up for Adrein?

    Will he learn to shoot?

Problem with Ish is that you just don't have to guard him. Double down on the post or the wing scoring option and Ish simply cannot punish you for it.

It's a shame because he's a pretty handy defender too. Needs to find a reliable jumpshot if he wants to get more NBA minutes.

Lakers should just pick him up. They need a pass first PG and someone who can play some decent defense against other PG's in the league. Plus anyone is an upgrade over Derek Fisher.

wow, I'm surprised no one values Ish. He's decent compared to other trash players in the league.

Its strickly contractual. NBA teams are always going to play the guys they are stuck paying for. Ish, and soon to be Lin, are always going to be victims of their non-guaranteed contracts. Ish could very well have been drafted as a late second rounder and had a Jose Calderon type of career. Ish and many others are products of bad contracts from being left out of the draft.

Ish would be sick on the Heat. I'm glad they are too stupid to pick him up.

Maybe if the Rockets trade Flynn to NO we can pick up Ish.

    A man can dream, right?

They need people that can shoot. They already have enough ball handlers in James and Wade. Teams would just leave him open daring him to shoot.

I'd put Rafer at our backup PF spot over Hill at this point...at least he played with passion.
