How can one advocate signing Bogut over Wright because of health? Are you high?

Lmfao, what r u talking about? I simply said HOU should've chosen Bogut over Wright, in what way shape or form is that picking every player out there?

Everything needs to go right( no pun intended) for any playoff opponent. I'm concerned about Wright too. It's good that this thread was started for discussion. Boston and OKC made it hard for the Rockets to run the P/R for Capela. Easy lobs weren't possible. Adjustments are being made, and will continue to be made, especially in the playoffs. Capela rebounded very nicely against Boston, but came up with a very anemic 3 boards against Adams. Wright can't rebound, but he is a good shot blocker and an alternative P/R player.

It's just mind boggling to see him being chronically injured at the age of 30. Anderson is our only other option at the 5. I think he will be physically fit soon, knock on wood.

Ryno is useful when he plays well, but he is somewhat mentally fragile. Nene is mentally strong, but considerably slower than in the last season.

I am guessing his lack of activity this season hurt some of his strength. Sounds like the Rockets are focusing on that to make him more sound.

I'm concerned. Wright is supposed to be the Tarik Black replacement. If either Clint or Nene gets banged up and can't play then our third string center will be seeing playing time. I actually thought Wright could possibly be more effective than Nene against certain opponents. Anyway, I hope everyone can get healthy for the playoffs.

They'll just go small ball. I don't see Wright getting more than change-of-pace or garbage-time minutes in the postseason.

Exactly. Be thankful we have a good medical staff that actually has the foresight to see the weakness causing Wright's knee soreness. Sounds like they're taking a long term solution and it could pay off big in the long term. Hold your horses people.

Honestly I think you will see a lot more of our small ball lineups come playoff time when Capela is resting.

The lineup of Paul, Harden, Gordon, Luc and Tucker is going to be huge for us.

D'Antoni has said Wright is basically on the team for "insurance, mostly" up front

I’m not a fan of Bogut the person but would welcome insurance for the insurance. Can’t go into another post season with Nene as the only trusted backup big.

Morey screwed up both waiver wire signings for sure.

Pathetic. Joe Johnson is trash as he's been for a while now an Wright was always an injury-prone rim runner who couldn't rebound.

Bogut should've been signed. A trade should've been made for a defensive wing/forward.

Cavs got Larry Nance JR, a guy who is better than Capela, for trading IT's trash contract and a worthless late rounder.

I can't believe Morey hedged his bets with this roster knowing how old a lot of them are.

You are a far more intelligent person than anybody that the rockets have in charge. Have you PMd tilman?

Id like you to be our next head coach and GM.

Do you not realize how rare it is to be a +10 to +11 SRS team? The Rockets most likely will never have this good a shot at a title ever again.

And they will go into the playoffs with Anderson, Ariza, and Gordon still on the roster. Only two of those guys are even good and all 3 are highly exploitable one-way players.

They should've gotten some more athleticism out there.
