His salary in Olympiacos would = $4.7 million per year in the NBA.

Also, BTW, he is much better than Dalembert.

It is just a rumor. He already passed 2 drug tests with Olympiacos this year. He just took one after these rumors. The Greek Basketball Federation did the test with WADA, so if he passes then it is all just rumors.

Besides, the NBA does not even test players for any of those drugs.

You sure about that? Rashard Lewis might beg to differ.

The NBA does not test for the same banned substances that WADA tests for. The NBA tests for drugs that can be abused (hence over the counter stimulants), WADA tests for PEDs.

Nothing Bourousis was rumored to have taken (not know for sure yet until the test comes back) is even tested for by the NBA. So even if the test came back positive, it would be for something that the NBA does not even test for.

The NBA does not allow WADA to do any testing of its players, nor to see any of the NBA's in-house testing results. Even if Bourousis was banned for 1-2 years by WADA, he would not be in violation of any banned substance that the NBA tests for.

Besides, this is all just rumor until the WADA test comes back. But, again, even if the WADA test was positive, none of those substances are banned by the NBA. Hence, he could still play in the NBA,

Start flooding Morey's Twitter about Bourousis. I'm sure he already knows something about him, but he needs to sign this guy.

I don't understand this rule. There are players that get drafted at age 23, 24.

International players (that have not played in the NCAA) are not eligible to be drafted past age 22. Of course, that did not stop Biyombo, Ngombo, Ilyasova, Yi, etc.

There is more evidence to promote Biyombo being under 20 than being over. This is pure speculation and assumption.

The NBA does not even bother to check the ages of these players. Just like the draft fiasco. In fact, they still list Ilyasova as being born in 1987, when he was born in 1982. They still list Yi as being born in 1987, when he was born in 1984.

Even Mutombo and Olajuwon have admitted they were much older than what the NBA listed them as.

The chances that Biyombo is 18 are very slim.

I agree that there is a chance that he is over 20, but to think that NBA GM's are not trying there damnedest to confirm these players ages seems a bit naive. I don't think you make an investment in a player without knowing the information to the best possible degree. The fact that it has happened would seem to push the point that teams would not want to fall into this category. Again, this is only assuming that the GM is competent; and if Morey was after him I think this would have been deeply investigated.

According to the latest info, the Greek Basketball Federation (the overseeing basketball body in Greece - like USA Basketball in USA), has stated that Bourousis' blood sample that was tested by WADA came back 100% clean for any banned substances and that he is now cleared to play for the Greek national team if he wanted to.

Fairly good comparison, although I would say that he is already at his ceiling then.
