Parsons is definitely the biggest bargain in the NBA. What do you think his market value would be if he were a free agent.

Around $8M IMO…quite a bit better than your run-of-the mill MLE player, but a step below from guys like Gallo/Batum that fall in the $10-11M range.

I'd pay him $8 mil the guy is a stud. With money in bank, he'd have even more confidence.

$8.5 mil because of his age and upside

He's turned his biggest deficiency into an attribute. He's improved his shooting greatly.

    Ok, he's not worth 9. He's worth 4 to 7 million.

    I think he's "worth" about 6-8 mil a year.

I think he will GET 9-10 mil a year.

I suspect he would fall in the $8-$10m category. Somewhere around Lin/Asik, and potentially around Demar Derozan territory.

His youth definitely adds to his price tag. Parsons is far from a finished product, and with this much production already teams would pay some premium to retain him on a longer contract, especially since his game is not predicated on hyper athleticism.

In other words, since he's not great because of freak athleticism, he's less likely to get injured or have a significant drop off in performance thus lowering his long term risk profile.

No way is he worth more than Lin....Lin makes everyone worth more than him. See Novak and Fields. Yeah, if Landry Fields can pocket $20 mill for 3 years, I pretty sure Parsons should be able to get $8-$10 million per year.

Parsons will bank once he finishes out his contract...Dont think the Rockets can keep him if we get another max player this offseason...But i really like the skill set that Parsons brings to the Rockets...He is the perfect 3 for the Rockets...and has the length and skill to guard the 4 on certain occasions...

8-9 mil is what i think he should get paid...he may get a bit more...

    I think it's closer to 5 or 6 million.

The one knock on Parsons is that his scoring comes from the offensive system. You will notice he doesn't create a lot of shots on his own. Instead he relies on others. Nothing wrong with that but it doesn't lower his value a bit.

Big gap between $6-9M and max money.

That said, I guess I think he'd get about 8 or 9 mil.
