[HELP] How to watch the Rockets while on a cruise?

Your in-cabin TV should have normal channels. And the bars usually have ESPN on. I was on a Carnival cruise not long ago and had no problem watching games.

I went on a cruise during our playoff series against the Mavs a few years ago. They have cable on the ship. We watched all the games at a sports bar next to the casino.

There were a lot of Mavs fans on the boat, so that was a lot of fun.

 

They will have the games. They are all nationally televised.

If not then hook up your laptop or smartphone to their wifi and check out nba streams reddit

 

Empty out water bottles.
Fill water bottles with vodka.
Reseal water bottles carefully with a flame.
Take onto ship.
Profit.

 

That doesn't work anymore. You're not even allowed to bring watter bottles. They're on to just about every smuggling technique via carry-on. I bought those rum-runner pouches and thought they'd work, but they got caught on the scan. Luckily, I tipped the baggage guy decently and he came over and told us that he took care of it so the booze still made it through. If you're smuggling booze, throw the baggage guy a $20 and you'll be good to go.

If you do want water, they actually offer a decent deal. You can order 12 packs of bottled water for $4.50 and they'll be waiting in your room when you get there. I ordered 2 for my trip and had plenty left over at the end.

 

Cruise wifi is slow and ridiculously expensive. Like 30 bucks a day.

Yes, this. I paid for it for 1 day and it was so bad I didn't bother getting it any other days. Kind of refreshing to 'unplug' for a few days.

 

You will get TV in your room so you can watch the game, but streaming is not going to work. Maybe streaming via radio app.

Facetime with a friend watching the game. Have the friend point the phone towards their TV.

 

Don't go on a cruise. Fly and go somewhere that isn't a big shopping mall. Problem solved.

You'll survive. If you beg the crew, there might be a way.

Might be worth the while if you have a chica narrative going on.
