Give the Rockets credit - they solved the Spurs solving their offense

    My stats indicate that when Anderson doesn't go 0 for the city of Houston from deep it's worth 3.0 points per shot more.

    All it took was Nene getting injured and Capela having foul trouble.

    I said earlier, Anderson was best suited in the game to play down low and eventually they will leave him alone on the 3 again. Out of necessity, I think that woke him up.

    As much as Spur is a defensive team they seem to generate their defensive intensity and effort from their offensive end. Tonight is similar to game 1 where when they couldn't hit shots at the start of the game their defensive intensity just went downhill as well.

    Nene is big big loss though for the remaining series.

    Nothing has changed, man. We are just knocking the 3s down tonight, where we were not in the previous 2. Hopefully the hot shooting can last till the end of this playoff. We desperately need it when Nene is out.

    We solved them, then they solved us. Now we solved their solution. So the Spurs have to come back and solve our solution for how they solved our original solving of them.

    This is all it comes down to. The roster was constructed with as many above average distance shooters as possible to play the stats game. When they hit 40-50% the Rockets are almost impossible to beat.

    I'm not sure why the Spurs went away from having their wings attack Harden off the dribble.
