But the fact remains, how many beach trips is LeBron making during the season? I dont see what the point is of being in LA when you're gone half the year traveling and even when you are in town you're practicing and playing games. Who actually thinks LeBron is going to go the Lakers and take meetings with Hollywood execs in between games and expect to win a title over there? Its complete nonsense. The entire Laker situation is nonsense but I genuinely hope it keeps getting spouted as "realistic".
I would highly recommend a trip to South Beach. Stay at the Hotel Chelsea, and say what's up to the fine bartender in the lobby for me. She hooked it up for me and my boys. Anyways, I don't want to derail one of the few good threads right now. I agree that almost all of the reasons that LeBron would have to go to LA are not basketball related. However, that could also change if 2 stars agree to go to LA, while LeBron opts into his deal, and the Lakers trade for him.
CP3 reportedly opted out last year, a few days before the trade was consummated. I'm sure we'll hear similar rumblings about LeBron
Good point, these things are always calculated moves by players and agents. The sooner we hear from LeBron the better, would mean he is giving the Rockets more time to get a deal done.
