Yep, mine have to be based on chains, as they go out further than Houston. That said, if y'all have any suggestions on things you'd like a review on, let me know. I've been doing it off and on as a hobby, but I enjoy it. Here's my most recent one: http://themightyrib.com/the-junkie-burger-kings-new-chicken-sandwich/
Not to steal OP's thunder but happened to try this just last week. The regular chicken sandwich with the slaw was good. Waffle was dry and completely fell apart on the first bite. Portions pretty small for the price.
I did start a FB page called Inner Loop Foodie Group. I typically post on there about fancier fare. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1429455197105127/
Hey fatty. All jokes aside, I'm interested in seeing this. Keep it up. It might lead me to something new.
45 seems most obvious, I've not lived in the Houston area since 2006 after moving to Fort Worth. However, my mom and many friends still live north in the Conroe/Woodlands area and we would also be interested in places within the same radius. Good to know what's further out that us northerners can get to if not headed within the loop.
I-10 West Cypress, Katy, Cinco Ranch, Memorial I make it over to The Woodlands, Conroe, Kingwood on occasion
Red Brick Tavern in Conroe. Corkscrew in Spring. Hubbell & Hudson in The TW. I'll need to do a bit of research in your neck of the woods, but my mom & sister just moved out to Katy, so I'm sure I'll get to try new stuff over there.
