We'll if it makes you feel better, I lost Watson and now having my lowest scoring game. Sat Jeffery, thought about but didn't add Brissett to start instead of Cousins. Not one of my players had a TD today. Two teams with empty spots as starters both won and outscored me. And next week doesn't look much better.
My opponent got Fournette benched by the team, AJ Green punching MMA Style, made a blunder by adding TJ Yeldon while benching TY Hilton ... what a lucky emphatic win
I need a QB: can either waiver claim Ben, McKown, or Cutler (have to waste waiver claim since two other teams will need QBs this week). Or I can approach Alex Smith owner (QB2 behind Cam) about a trade and offer one of my WRs (see list below). If I use a waiver claim I will drop Chris Ivory, so no prob there. I also need a RB. RBs on waivers include Darkwa, Crowell, Murray, Drake, Kelley, Lewis. Or I can approach the Doug Martin/Ameer Abdullah owner and offer a trade involving one of my WRs (list below) and possibly Tevin Coleman. If I add someone from waivers, I will need to drop one of my WRs. Which one (list below)? WR list: Keenan Allen (vs JAX), Alshon Jeffery (bye), Sterling Shepard (vs SF), Devante Parker (vs CAR), Corey Davis (vs CIN)
Jordy Nelson is truly useless without Rodgers. Going to try & flip him for a more consistent receiver. Any suggestions?
Which of these players would you drop in a standard league starting 2 WR, 2 RB, and 1 Flex? I need to drop only 1 of these 4: Marshawn Lynch or Ty Montgomery (other RBs - Ingram, McCoy, Peterson) Devante Parker or Marvin Jones (other WRs - Diggs, Evans)
Which WR would you drop in 12 player standard: Kelvin Benjamin, Devante Parker, Sterling Shepard, or Corey Davis?
Parker has been pretty decent in his starts. Davis has only played a couple of games so he is the riskiest and probably the easiest to let go. Shepard is forced targets and opportunity always trumps talent. Benjamin is a relative unknown, but it seems difficult to imagine he gets better than he was in Carolina. I think you cut Davis and try to isolate favorable matchups for those 3. But that is difficult because Davis could come on strong to end the season, but so could the other 3. Can't always think an unproven rookie is capable of getting hot any more so than a veteran.
Thanks Moes. Dropped Davis, added Orleans Darkwa to start (along with Shepard) vs SF this week. Hopefully he slips past people this week and I have a chance to re-add Davis, as even last week he showed a glimpse of the speed, hands, and skills that has been hyped all season.
Got a trade offer, that seems like no brainer, but wanted objective opinion in case I'm missing something. League is 0.5 PPR, Start 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex. Offered: RB Mark Ingram, RB J. Howard,, WR D. Baldwin. Give up: WR A. Brown. Rest of team: RB: J. Mixon, T. Coleman, CJ Anderson. WR: Dez Bryant, Amari Cooper, Marvin Jones, Corey Davis Thanks
I think you almost have to make that trade. None of your current RBs are more than flex options. Howard and Ingram give you 2 legit starters there and Baldwin isn't going to match Brown's numbers but he's a top 10 WR in PPR, so the points you gain at the RB position will probably double the difference you're losing in points between AB and DB.
Do you think D. Freeman is going to turn it around? =( With that in mind, how bad of a deal is freeman for ty Hilton and darkwa? Tom Brady vs broncos or McCown vs bills? Tom has been in game good and consistent but man he's been a ppr let down
Would you guys make this trade? Kareem Hunt (going out) Adrian Peterson and Deandre Hopkins (coming in) My current RB and WR: Devonte Freeman, Alvin Kamara, Dion Lewis, Kareem Hunt and Marshawn Lynch Michael Thomas, Mohamed Sanu, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Devin Funchess
That's what I keep telling myself. I guess an upgrade at WR is what I'm looking for. I lost Rodgers and OBJ within a weeks span in this league so I think I'm still in recovery mode from that.
i see. honestly i wouldnt even want hopkins with savage at qb for the rest of the year or whoever else the texans just picked up
