121-130: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13780981/nba-nbarank-121-130 130. Brandan Wright 129. Aaron Gordon 128. Mason Plumlee 127. Omer Asik 126. Avery Bradley 125. Manu Ginobili 124. Iman Shumpert 123. Emmanuel Mudiay 122. Kelly Olynyk 121. Brandon Jennings Current Rockets lineup: 277. Sam Dekker 265. Clint Capela 264. Jason Terry 235. Marcus Thornton 232. K.J. McDaniels 165. Corey Brewer 135. Patrick Beverley
Rookies have been way too hyped. Asik is not better than Bev and I don't know what to make of Plumlee
so many problems with those rankings. Aaron Gordon 129? Mudiay hasn't even played one game and is considered to be starter caliber from his rookie season. Not to speak about Olynyk who can't defend box out or rebound. And players with so serious injuries like Pekovic and Jennings shouldn't be included in that list at all. We have no idea when they will be back, and how they will look.
It's obviously debatable, and part of is too reliant on projecting, I agree. Mudiay will start in Denver btw and have a lot of freedom.
just because someone is starting doesn't mean he's starting caliber. Esp when he's a rookie, and pg that is the position that needs the most experience. And his team is a rebuilding one, and looks to be top 3 worst next year. At 130-120 rank it means those players supposedly are starting caliber players. No rookies should be included. The rank of rookies should have been : N/A inefficient data.
There are certainly rookies that have been starting caliber though. I honestly don't know enough about Mudiay to give an educated opinion about whether is starter quality.
111-120 is out: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13814026/nba-nbarank-111-120 TJones baby! 120. Jamal Crawford 119. Boris Diaw 118. Tiago Splitter 117. Shaun Livingston 116. Steven Adams 115. Amir Johnson 114. Deron Williams 113. David West 112. Terrence Jones 111. Otto Porter Jr. Updated list of Rockets: 277. Sam Dekker 265. Clint Capela 264. Jason Terry 235. Marcus Thornton 232. K.J. McDaniels 165. Corey Brewer 135. Patrick Beverley 112. Terrence Jones
after this season every single player on here has a chance to be a little higher next season if they stay healthy except jason terry.
101-110: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13755911/nba-nbarank-101-110 Massive jump from DMo 110. Lou Williams 109. D'Angelo Russell 108. Wesley Matthews 107. Paul Pierce 106. Markieff Morris 105. Thaddeus Young 104. Donatas Motiejunas 103. Michael Carter-Williams 102. Joe Johnson 101. George Hill Updated Rockets: 277. Sam Dekker 265. Clint Capela 264. Jason Terry 235. Marcus Thornton 232. K.J. McDaniels 165. Corey Brewer 135. Patrick Beverley 112. Terrence Jones 104. Donatas Motiejunas
Interesting: No power forwards ranked between TJ and DMo. Makes the silly back and forth here seem even sillier.
Heh, yea, I guess Markieff though. But yup, they are both very similar caliber players with very different skill sets.
man its shame dmo is not healthy, t.jones is good, but aint a automatic 2 in the post like dmo is. Last year i felt when we gave him the ball down low he wasnt gonna miss no matter who was defending him
i know who the poster is that thinks charles jones is still better than the current jones on the team. but who does not like Dmo?
