Facts! Don't forget the slander Melo got too. Mind you it was only 10 games. More evidence posters here had hatred of Melo for reasons outside of basketball. His stats were better than Gordon's but yet he was the reason we struggled (after only 10 games)? Hogwash

It’s chucking when you fall under 33%. That’s the whole Rockets theory bro. 1 point per possession.

No one was having fun but he’s the one complaining? That makes you a diva. He just doesn’t like losing though right lol...I mean, play better then, help your team get over the top. I miss angry Gordon throwing down hammers and stepping into 30 foot threes like they were layups. Terrible handles/screamface Gordon who is officially a brick layer ain’t it.

Not the first time in his career he’s beenconsidered a diva, or you think NOLA just boos him for fun?

He’s not a defensive stalwart either. Selling that idea.

Ryan Anderson shot 40% and had to come back leaner with a different mentality and DID and still got run. I think it’s time we give a few accurate assessments on Gordon. He has to play better.

Put me down for Injuries and Defense. The massively improved play of Harden and Capela have offset declines in CP and EGo. What's left is injuries and defense.

Also, we 'bout ready to get another lesson in exactly how important Capela is to this team.

Lol painting him in an unfavorable light by stating facts? I’m not pouting about it, I’m saying his factually terrible play is a big reason the team has struggled this year. I hope he plays better because they really seriously absolutely definitely need him to play significantly better.... like he has shown capable of doing.

The only opinion I’m rolling with is that I don’t really get why he’s been sheltered from the swinging sword of clutchfans? Because he’s played like crap. We can say he’s played like crap when he has right? Because the complainers on this board have run way further with less ammo than the practically zero flack he’s taken for being probably the 2nd biggest disappointment on the team. At least Chris Paul has a torn hamstring or two.

Speaking of facts, Anderson gets paid $7m more, not $4m, as in the OP. :) That's 150% more than Gordon.

Gordon has truly been abysmal this season .

IMO coach not putting him in the best position to succeed.

He need to stop jacking up 35 footers when he's not hot

Is this an attempt to say getting facts so wrong in the OP is OK? :)

Are you saying EGo's $13.5m contract is just as hard to trade as Ryan's $20.4m? Because OP is asking why Ryan got run out of town due to salary and Gordon isn't, using significantly incorrect salary numbers to make a false similarity.

Wait, am I hearing that an NBA player throws his arms and complains to the ref after every shot?
I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you.

Agree about the defense, but a surprising amount of that is CP. It's not just whatever lateral movement issues are coming from age or hamstrings. It's that his attention and rotation while off the ball aren't what they were last year. Sometimes his man loses him, or a guy flies in for an offensive rebound right past him, without him noticing. Like he's not maintaining mental energy and focus. It's worrisome.

This is getting tangential from EG....but it is striking how the DEFENSE of this team changed from last year to this year. The defensive rebounding percentage from what 3rd last year to 29th this year? That is CRAZY!

That's what happens when instead of Ariza and Luc and pj playing 3/4

You have pj and green and rivers and Gordon playing 3/4

MDA thinks the smaller guys can simply scrap their way into enough rebounds .... but especially when we play farried at the 5 we just don't have enough size to keep other teams off the glass

Also he all but refused to try hartenstein and Clark for any significant stretch after the first month of the season

Kind of a weird bone to pick but you are right. I thought Anderson was 18 mil, first year was 18.7 and small increases every year. But he agreed to reduce his guarantee to leave, Gordon sitting right at 13.5 mil would not be correct to say Anderson earns 150% more either. Hooray facts! Lol

So I said is 4 million the difference and that isn’t really accurate. Is 7 million the difference between dog cursing and being run off?

Should we ask Ariza if 7 million makes a difference?

Made gumbo today and my sauces are telling me that he is saving this year's hot streak for the playoffs. So fear not.

Paul and Gordon played with stress and too many minutes because of no depth.
Depth is Knight, Chriss, Melo, MCW, Ennis and Hart.
Free agent success is in July for all teams.

Raptors and Celtics are a good model for Morey.
    Good rookie contracts,
    great defenders
    depth
