Tmac should blame Grant Hill.. Tmacs best years was in Orlando.. if Hill never got hurt.. both him and Tmac could have done quite a lot of damage and went on to the finals.

Winning the MVP award is no easy feat obviously. It's a elite club and that year Rose almost by himself made his team a contender. Before the injury Rose was definitely proving to be a elite player, he still has a lot of career left ahead of him though, at this point he'd have to play himself out of being in the HOF.

Iverson, absolutely 100%. Carter, McGrady, Wallace? LOL NO WAY.

Grant Hill? NBA-wise, no, but maybe if you want to include college ball.

T-Mac won the scoring title twice. One of those years was when Kobe had his ridiculous string of 30+ games. After we've had time to forget his decline in the past few years, we'll be able to remember and appreciate when he was a top-5 player.

Questioning Iverson in the HOF is laughable. None of the writers mentioned his impact off the court. Dude, pretty much changed the culture of the NBA.

I am just worried that if he comes back and is not the same (Grant Hill like) will the rest of his career (majority of his career) going to counteract his amazing start to his career. Also feel like B Roy is a player that will be a lesser Grant Hill due to injury

Lol do you mean 96-00? 2000-2006 were the worst injury years; he averaged like 25 games/yr. He tore up the league in Detroit, dark days in Orlando.

    Tmac and Iverson for sure.

Iverson for what he brought to the game in ability and Tmac for his legendary 13 in 33 and skills.

Hill deserves it the most. Of course they factor in college, they'd factor in women's basketball too if he played it. What do y'all think the HOF is?

Yeah, I can't see how Iverson doesn't get in. He was the only one on this list that was an elite player at his position for more than a few seasons. MVP, Rookie of the Year, 10+ all star appearances, scoring title, 1 finals appearance.

I have a soft spot for McGrady but unfortunately I think he comes up short. The scoring title is a big deal but when you do it on a terrible team it kinda takes the luster away from the award.

    Iverson for sure.
Hill: Yes. if you include college career.
Mcgrady: Yes. His stats are way better than many that are already in. He wont be the 1st in without a ring.
    RaSheed: no.

He never came close to a ring. He only came close to the second round.

plus no team will retire his number.

Vince Carter - Maybe, but doubtful. Favors decently with Dominique Wilkins. Only a single 2nd team and a single 3rd team All NBA on his resume, along with second fiddle status after he left Toronto.

Grant Hill - Doubtful, but possible. Four 2nd team and one 1st team All-NBA helps alot. But really, he's banking completely on his Pistons stint, and he never took them anywhere meaningful.

Rasheed Wallace - Absolutely Not. Career underachiever that never was in the conversation for best at his position at any point.

Tracy McGrady - Decent chance. Two 1st team, three 2nd team, two 3rd team All NBA nods. Twice led league in PPG. Playoff failure, but he deserves consideration.

Allen Iverson - Absolutely Yes. No one close to his size came near to his scoring accomplishments.

Ok I get that...but do you dispute that there are players in with less of a resume?

I doubt the Celtics are gonna retire Ray Allens jersey.

Eddy Curry career > Tracy Mcgrady career. Because he has a ring.
