Gerald has better 3pt, FT, and TO% but that is only because he doesn't have the ball in his hands like Russ.
Westbrook does everything else better plus all the other intangibles!

Daywalker, if Gerald Green was anyway similar to Russ, he wouldn't be making the minimal. Please...

i'm not the biggest fan of pringles or russ being rockets. but i will say that pringles will easily be the best coach russ has had to date. brooks and donovan are clearly in the bottom quarter league-wise

Remember that topic where title said CP feels betrayed by Harden TF and DM? There was no pringels out there. And now it seems pringels was really with CP all the way and that rumour might be true

to be honest i haven't read/heard enough about russ to say otherwise. but just from watching his teams the past decade -- donovan is fuking clueless about the NBA game (sitting russ/PG13 together instead of staggering) and brooks while a great person/communicator, has always led underachieving teams. i'm confident that in the reg season at least, pringles is gonna get more efficiency out of russ. and hopefully harden/tuck will be somewhat of a calming influence on him too so he sticks to the gameplan (on both ends) and avoids trying to constantly one-up his man (see lillard, bev, etc)

Russ had the green light in OKC so that won't change a darn thing. No point in saying on record and through the media you are going to change Russ. It's not about him anyway, if we are going to win, it's because Harden and WB are on one page and play great together and do everything they can for the team.

I honestly think Mike is just saying this because the media will asking, who will defer, Harden or Westbrook? I think he is just getting out there, Russ can continue being Russ, it is my job to figure it out how Harden and Russ will work together.

This is the mind-boggling part, though. When he goes up against guys like Gobert and KAT he destroys them and makes them look like they are stuck in mud.

When he goes up against Golden State he is a complete non-factor... actually, he's practically a negative.

Mike needs to let go of not having CP3. Probably knew CP3 was the one keeping him around when Harden and Morey wanted to get rid of him.

FWIW, I think Russ WILL change. To what degree, I'm not sure. But I am fairly sure he'll mesh better than the naysayers think.
