Happy Fathers Day to all the Clutchfan Dads out there. How do you usually celebrate Fathers Day? Do you typically receive a gift? I am a Father of a 19 year old. We usually go for lunch.
Same to you. I have two young boys. We mostly celebrated yesterday as I'll be gone most of today. End of season soccer tourney for my Over 30 league (3 games) and a softball game tonight means I won't be home from about noon on. The gift is that my wife isn't allowed to complain about it today.
Thanks! My son graduated a year ago with degrees in computer engineering and computer science, and has an excellent job here in Austin with a small but growing software design company, one with offices in Boston, the Northwest, and Australia, as well as the headquarters in Austin. He makes a ridiculous amount of money for a guy who just turned 23. We very proud, of course, and I'm seeing a flick with him today, followed by dinner someplace nice. My daughter just graduated from high school, going to an excellent university in the Fall. We sent her off the Europe for a month at the beginning of last week. She's paying for a good chunk of the trip with money she saved working summers. Her major's going to be in computer graphic design. She'd love to be one of those dozens of names scrolling by at the end of flicks like The Fifth Element. Regardless of what she ends up doing, we're very proud of her, and we have the Family Castle to ourselves for an entire month! That's the best Father's Day present I could ask for. Two great kids and being able to chase my significant other around the pad naked if I feel like it. As far as being a father goes, life is very good indeed. -
This is my 1st Father's Day without my Pops. I'm still gonna celebrate in his honor though. My Daughter lives in Michigan, so I got my present in the mail Friday. I will still get my phone call from her later today. So, Happy Fathers Day to all my fellow Clutch Fans members, y'all have a good one.
Someone repped me and said "why you lying b****" That's pretty damn funny. I'd have to guess it was VHB
Today is my 2nd Father's Day since my daughter was born. This day used to be really difficult for me as we struggled with infertility, so it is extra sweet. Hope all the dad's out there have a good one!
Bump the thread to say Happy pappy day to all! My belly is full and I'm binge watching Daredevil on netflix.
Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there. It's a HUGE blessing to be a father, and it's certainly taught me what love truly is.
