CP3: Declining versus Down Year?

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Shark44, May 29, 2019.

?

Did CP3 have a down year or is he significantly declining?

  1. Down Year: Injury slowed him down and age made it tougher to come back sooner.

  2. Significant Decline: Injury impacted him, but age and wear are starting to erode his elite skills

  3. System/Team Impact: CP3 is being forced to play off guard 60-70% of the time when he's a Point God.

Harden got charges called at the rim not 30ft from the basket. BTW when was the last time CP3 got a and 1 on a drive?

No those were not at the rim. I guess sticking his arm out while he was trying to get pass green at the 3 pt line is at the rim? no

    Some of y’all can’t stop b****ing. It’s pretty sad

One call lol! And a bs one at that. What about CP3 running head first into Iggy? Oh yeah that don’t fit the hate. Some ya’ll can’t stop sucking off CP3. It’s pretty sad.

Lol you guys are still fighting over who should be blamed more between Harden and Paul...how about both could've done better? I mean, that's just how it is in the end.

People are so binary on here. At the end of the day there is plenty of blame to go around on the stars, role players, bench, coaches, front office, owner etc. Everyone has their share.

Now the Rockets just have to correct the things that they can. You hope they learn where their issues lie and make adjustments to correct them.

not really. ive had plenty of discussions since the season ended for the rockets. its adheres to all sides. you on the other stay busy going to every little post that says anything about harden. but kudos to you for being a harden nutrider.

None wich had any substance, it’s all blame Harden for stuff that’s beyond his control. We didn’t lose because of Harden. CP3, Capela and our bench had more to blame. Anyone without a bias could see that.

to you of course not. you have tunnel vision. you're speaking as if you have any actual substance. please. who cares what you think when it comes to this. just because people dont get on their knees next to you doesn't make them wrong or things they bring up are invalid.

But they are invalid, especially your takes.
Carry on nutrider, it’s entertaining at least watching you justify your “takes”.

A lot of CP's play this year seemed mental to me. There were lots of casual passes and botched plays that weren't due to physical decline. His first step has surely declined but a cerebral point guard should be able to be productive into his mid 30s. My 2 cents, anyway.

Hmmm watch yourself, I’m sure Harden caused him to do that.

Again, you telling someone else theyre wrong means absolutely nothing. There go lies your problem in itself. Not anyone else’s fault but yourself. But carry on and stay b****ing on your knees. I for sure don’t take what you have to say for anything more than garbage. Harden or nothing mentality. Good job. I’m
    Glad you’re a fan.

    Father time is undefeated ….

The fit with Harden is terribad.

Expecting him to be better next year than last is …. nonsensical.

Harden wasn't mistake free in the playoffs, that's for sure.

Neither is the primary issue to me. Paul is declining, I won't deny that. His salary sucks. But the team needed more switchable, long SF/PFs. That was our achilles. Chris and James together would've beaten the Warriors the last 2 years with a better front court. In 2018, arguably if they had just stayed healthy.
