This is total Buy High Sell Low logic. What ended up costing one first round pick to move will now cost one first and one second.
how the hell did the Spurs find someone like Johnathan Simmons while we are stuck with a bad contract with Brewer who is not wanted by any nba team. Good job Morey.
Well if you take a look at who Morey drafted this year qnd who he passed up its pretty easy to understand unfortunately. Dude is overrated
We could trade this thread to another fans site for a thread to be named later. Maybe throw in a Rubio thread too... and the future rights to a Llull thread.
I realized today that he's a selfish offensive player. He doesn't even know other players exist once he gets the ball. He loves being a hero, that's his thing. Diving for loose balls, attacking on the break, going for heroic steals. When it works it looks great. Most of the time it doesn't, and it works less now than it did before. If he could just save the heroism for advantageous transition situations, the rest of the time he just needs to pass the ball and hold his position. We need that roster spot. This team needs to take more risks on young FA's who might develop into something a few years down the line.
Go where? No team is trading a used condom plus some expired dorritos for him. Maury gave him a bad contract and now we are stuck with him. The only way to not see him on the court is to make him lie down and have Keith jones sit on him during the game.
Just cut this man. Nobody's gonna trade for him at this point. Everyone knows what he can do, and that is not very much. Minutes are better off going to KJ and Dekker.
Agreed. I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. He seems like a good dude. He plays hard, I wouldn't question that, he hustles. He just fkn sucks the life outta the team with his boneheaded play. Refuses to pass, wild shots, gambling defense. The trifecta of bad. KJ and Dekker are really playing pretty well and with much better team awareness IMO. I just don't care what Brewer's contract says. His time on the floor right now (and the past year) is to the detriment of the team. I mean, maybe some benching would do him some good.
