Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell ran unofficial forty times of 4.65 and 4.63 at his Pro Day. The numbers are not unexpected, but they are disappointing for a player thought to be the best receiver in this year's class. At 6-foot-2, 221 pounds, Treadwell creates separation with his size, route-running and ball skills, so the athletic concerns are not a death knell. Still, it is tough to justify taking a receiver who runs in the 4.6s and posted a 33-inch vertical at the combine early in the first round. Treadwell remains a day-one pick, but he is unlikely to be taken in the top 10.

If we don't take him in the first, the Bengals or Vikings will. Both teams as well as Rams showed for his pro day
As visible as Doctson has been, a guy who might satisfy what the Texans are looking for that could be available in the mid rounds is his teammate Kolby Listenby. He has as much speed as anybody in the draft over 40 yards, though he is more of a long strider than some of the bigger names. He probably just gets a handful of catches on go routes over the next year at least, but potentially you can coach him up to a burner/3rd reciever over the next couple of years. He maybe has a little "Johnny Knox" in him before Knox was hurt, though he doesn't have the record of kick returns, but maybe his potential is a little hidden playing next to Doctson. Listenbee in the 4th or 5th could get the Texans 85% of what they'd get drafting one of the speed guys in the 1st at a much lower price.

BREAKING: #Baylor DE and NFL draft hopeful Shawn Oakman the latest BU player under investigation for Sexual Assault. Story coming.
That guy's pro day was the nuts. He went from undrafted to 4th round for sure, and he very much so could keep climbing. You definitely cannot trust the tape, just because of the talent difference, but the combination of his hands/speed/size/leaping ability is crazy, crazy good. That is the kind of reach pick I wish the Texans would jump on. Though we all know they would not do that, or at least, most of us are pretty sure they wouldn't. But for sure, Boehringer's pro day was the stuff of 1st round/top 15 talent.
Also another reach I'd love to see the Texans take a jab at. As far as the physical goes, he's an absolute monster. It isn't as if he is a blank on the football field, he just didn't play college ball. He would have a steep learning curve, but if our coaches are as competent as they believe they are, he could be a steal.
