I've been brainwashed into thinking all threads lead to Kellerman.

I don't really agree with him.

houston is rolling, because Harden is a much better player than Westbrook....like significantly so.

Paul is much better than George

    Capela and Adams are comparable.

And our depth is much better than theirs.

How fun they are, personalities, mostly irrelevant.

I'm with you there - I nearly left Cowherd's name out of the title solely because I'm sick of seeing Max Kellerman's name in titles.

PS - Thanks for embedding the video.

You're completely missing his point. Did you even listen to it?

Edit: I think everyone knows Harden is better than WB - Chris Paul being much better than PG at this stage in his career and given CP3 has missed almost 20 games is definitely a stretch.

His point is on paper the guys they put around WB should all fit - they should be much better than they were last year on paper. WB is hard to play with and I think it's telling KD left and Oladipo is having a career year one year removed from playing with a guy who "gets 10 assists a game".

This is like audio p*rn for Rockets fans. Especially the huge Harden fans. :D

    I did listen too it.

His main point seemed to be about personality, hostility to media, being a loner, itself.

    1) Harden and Paul chose and want to make it work
    2) H&P are more complete players, thus can be effective with or without the ball
    3) H&P are in a better system

Harden did not make Lin better because Lin was limited off ball and as a defender.
Harden made Bev better because he did both those things well.
    Chris Paul does everything well.

Harden is amazing and MVP this year.
But the reason this team has worked is more because of Paul than Harden.

Which one could be left to think maybe that's why KD left? Let me ask you this question - if CP3 and Westbrook were on the same team would it work? Since you said personalities didn't matter...

Westbrook does indeed come off like the biggest ******* in that "interview." Hard to blame Durant from wanting to get away.

Probably, but that's irrelevant to my comment.

Define what you mean by "would it work"

There are countless other ones where he has acted that way. He's a great talent (regardless of what anyone wants to say on this board) but the guy will never be a winner.

Harden on paper is the best isolation players in history and he can give you 10 dimes every night. What other person in NBA history can you say that about? Oh BTW, he also gets to the line better than anyone in history that you aren't intentionally fouling. How do you like that for analytics?
